This collection is a follow on from "A Weight Off My Mind". It will be addressing and reflecting on the pressures in society to look a certain way and the struggle of not fitting into a perceived "ideal" category. There will be positive reflection...
How will we ever teach our children to accept their bodies and themselves if they are constantly shamed and alienated by the sizing available on the shelves?
Many retailers now offer a range of sizes available in their designs yet so many stores neglect to include them offering only for you to purchase online.
It saddens me to think they are happy to cater only for those who fit into their mould leaving so many of us feeling neglected and left completely out in the cold.
In a world where it's encouraged to be accepting of all people regardless of their differences it's still normality for people of different sizes to be left feeling ostracised.
