It had been a real eye opener listening to what Julie had said, she's made me realise that even though it's a bit sooner than most people would like i'm an adult now and this tiny baby is mine, i'm going to look after it and raise it the best I can because whether people like it or not, i'm pregnant and proud of it!

I went home after finishing my shift and opened the door to find Luke waiting for me.

" Hi!" I smiled. " Julie was talking to me today and it turns out..." He looked up and I stopped talking, he'd been crying. " What's wrong?" I asked getting worried.

" My mum's in the hospital." He whispered, I'd never seen him like this he looked like a ghost.

" Why?"

" She had a heart attack." He cried. I grabbed a bag and packed it with overnight supplies before wrapping Luke's coat around him and ringing a taxi. It arrived in less than ten minutes and I bundled us both in.

*At the hospital*

As soon as we got to the hospital we both rushed in, Luke seemed to be feeling better, I think the shock had worn off a bit. A nurse pointed us to the right room and we flew in.

She was just lying there lifeless. I could see the tears welling up in Luke's eyes.

*Luke's POV*

I felt so helpless, I didn't want to lose my mum she was the only family I had left. So I sat down inn the chair next to her and buried my head, tears dripping down my face.

Then a nurse came in and I jumped up to ask her what was going on.

"How did this happen?!" I screamed. "She's so healthy."

"Even what seem like perfectly healthy people can have underlying heart problems, we're just going to run some tests." The nurse replied wheeling my mum away. I couldn't believe it, I collapsed in a heap on the floor and sapphy came and sat behind me cuddling me.

" She'll be OK." She whispered gently kissing my neck. "Don't worry." I looked up at her and forced a smile. Before getting up.

" Yeah she'll be alright wont she, i'm just going to grab a drink." I walked over to the door and looked over at Sapphire, who was staring out the window before running down the hallway and out the hospital.

I didn't know where I was going but I couldn't stay here.
