I've only been back to see my mum once since she said it was ok if I didnt want to.  I mean I want to see her but right now sapphire's pregnancy is moving fast. Her bump sticks out loads and people keep looking at us funny and whispering about us everywhere we go, I hate it but there's nothing I can do. At least Sapphys not mad at me anymore.

I got her a very special gift! I went out and brought a ring.

*Three days before*

I've been trying to get Sapphire to forgive me ever since the little 'incident' but I can't think of anything to give her so I'm going to see my mum and find out if she can help me with it all. I know I don't like seeing her in the hospital but for now she's stuck in there and i'm just gonna have to deal with it.

*At the hospital*

" Hi mum!" I smiled giving her a hug. " Long time, no see."

" It's ok you know I don't mind, hospitals are a traumatic place for you, for us both." She said gesturing me to have a seat.

" I'm so sorry you're still stuck in here, i'm trying to get you out."

" I'm not in prison you know! Anyway you said you needed a gift for Sapphire."

" Oh yeah, we had an argument, right and I need to do something really special for her but i'm not sure what, she's really mad and I want to make it up to her."

" Ok, Well have you thought about the kind of gift you want to get her?" She questioned obviously thinking I hadn't thought about it at all.

" I was thinking jewelery of some kind, like a necklace or something."

" Luke she's carrying your child, really think hard about this."

" What do you suggest?" I queried.

" Marry her."

I wasn't quite sure what to say. My mind was racing and my heart was beating.

" Ok, i'm marrying Sapphire!"

I went straight out to the nearest jewellers and bought the nicest ring I could find, I had it wrapped in tissue paper and placed in a sparkling gold box before going straight home. As soon as I saw Sapphire curled up on the sofa I realised what a dick I'd been and walked straight over to her, it was dark out now and the perfect time to snuggle up to her and reveal my gift. I slipped off my shoes and sat down next to her, she didn't bother to ask where'd I'd been or if I was okay she just shuffled over to make room. I seized my opportunity.

" Sapphire to prove how sorry Iam for what I did and how much I love you, I bought you a gift." She seemed to be paying no attention so I pulled out the gold box and knelt down on one knee, her eye's immediately shifted my way. I pulled the lid off the box and revealed the heart shaped ring, her eyes lit up and she drew a sharp intake of breath.

" Will you marry me?" I asked.
