the first time that ashton saw calum was in the first grade. he'd always thought that the slightly younger boy was way cooler than him, so when they became friends through a project in the third grade, ashton couldn't have been happier.

they became the closest of friends within a short period, but time and bad influences were all it took for calum to leave ashton for a new group of friends.

ashton hadnt seen calum very often after that.

so, he most certainly didn't expect to see him at a party, snorting coke off of a kitchen counter, surrounded by girls and boys.

but all he could do was walk off and try to drink away any thought of approaching calum.
