the first step proves to be extremely difficult. of course both boys predicted that it would be but neither expected it to be this level of difficult.

even though ashton doesn't even know the next steps, he's sure this is the most difficult of them all.

he accompanies calum to the next party, sticking to his side at all times, even to a point where if either of them need the bathroom, they go together.

ashton manages to drag him away from the drugs but he wakes up to calum curled in on himself and crying quietly. he knows its the withdrawal kicking in.

he knows that it's going to take every ounce of self control within him to not give in when calum needs it, all because he can't see the younger boy in pain.

but ashton is determined.
