Chapter 4.

Pen.

The next day was a murderous one. Liy and I made a pact, we were going to murder our team, excluding Remote. And that's exactly what happened.
First of all, Liy managed to take out Black Hole. It turned out that she had the same abilities as me and used them to do something to Black Hole which killed him. I, of course, condoned this, cheering her on as she took the life away from our teammate. We then heard Pie's voice. "What do you think you're doing?"
Before throwing forks simultaneously at her, Liy and I looked at each other for approval. Two forks sped at Pie, exploding her - killing her. As we were searching for our team, I spotted Bottle roaming the lands. "I'll handle her." Liy whispered, creating a sledgehammer. From behind a bush, I watched as she gently tapped Bottle with the hammer. Once the transparent contestant's attention was Liy's, my partner in crime span around on her heels and as she faced Bottle, shattered her with the hammer. She dropped the weapon, kicking shards of glass away from her. She looked as if she'd done it a million times.
Later, we found Pillow. I approached her with a knife and cut her open without any reaction from her. "Huh. That was easy." I thought aloud.
„Too easy. Look, Tree's the only one left.„
"We know that, Alt. Should I get him or-"
"No." I immediately interrupted her.
"There's some things I want to tell him before he dies."

When we found him, I couldn't bring myself to step up to him until Liy pushed me towards him. Before starting the conversation, I made an axe and hid it  behind my back. "H-Heya, bud... it's me..." I stammered, already feeling guilty about the fact that I was going to kill him.
"Yeah, I can tell. Now, what do you want?" He said, blandly.
"I-I... I just wanted to tell you that..."
"Get on with it."
"Tree, I need you to know that you're a good friend and that I'm very, very sorry for what I have to do."
"What do you have t-"
His sentence was never finished.

And it never could be.

I equipped my axe, closed my eyes tightly and cut through Tree with it. I could feel acidic tears streaming down my face as I couldn't resist the urge to kill. I wouldn't have done it if I were myself.
And that was that.
I stared down at the corpse of my best friend, dropping the axe and ignoring the loud noise kt made with its fall. I fell to my knees, holding the wrist of Tree's dead body.
No pulse.
He was gone.
Me, Liy, Remote, Bracelety, X, Blocky, Eraser, Snowball and Grassy were the only objects alive.
