Pen.

The world is white.

No.

It's nothing but darkness now.

"Where am I?" I asked myself, then remembering that I took Remote's place, whatever that meant. "Oh, right. Well, is anyone there?" The fear of being alone caused my voice to crack. I felt like an autophobe. "Yeah, we're here." Tree's voice startled me but when I realised it was him, my face lit up. I was on the verge of happiness tears. "Wh-Where are you?!" I felt the laugh in my voice.
"Here." The darkness caved in and I was back in the real world, my whole team, except Liy, in front of me. I ran to hug Tree but when I touched him, he glitched out of existence. One by one, the other members of my team did the same. The darkness surrounded me once more and an unfamiliar laughter filled my head. "You... haha... y-you really thought that they were back?! Haha, don't you understand the effects of your damage?!" The voice spoke to me.
"Who's there?!" I screamed, a variation of emotions hitting me.
"I'm here." The room became a dark shade of grey, only light enough to make out the humanoid figure in front of me. It was all black like the room was and had two holes in its face which I presumed to be its eyes. There was also a thin line o.n its face which was its mouth. "Who- What are you?" I took a step back as it came closer to me.
"My identity is unknown, but I'm here to fulfil the wish that Liy has just made." its voice frightened me, every word it said stayed in the back of my head.
"What did she wish for?"
"That, I can't tell you. Anyway, you must be Pen. I've got to admit, it's pretty nice of you to put yourself here just to save a robot from my grasp."
It called my best friend a robot. My hands clenched into fists when I heard that.
"Why aren't you talking? Answer me!" It shouted the last part, white flames appearing under its feet that faded when I spoke.
"Can you help me?" I looked away from it.
"Help you with what?"
"I want to reverse everything I've done. I want this whole thing to just be a dream. I wish I never took the knives from Liy all those days ago. Please, shadow thing, that's all I'm asking..." I could feel myself tearing up as I spoke, remembering everything that'd happened. It was too much for me and I started to have a breakdown; I just wanted things to go back to how they were. The humanoid shadow placed its hand on my shoulder and it smiled for the first time.
"Hey, don't cry. Of course I can help you. I can do anything. Just take my hand and everything will be back to how it was."
I almost trusted it. The reason I didn't was Liy. The way she held her hand out to me before was too similar to this. I couldn't risk it. "You don't trust me... do you?" It tilted its head. I shook mine.
"Very well..." it faded into the ground, darkness surrounding me once more.

Just me.

All alone.

With nothing to help me.

Nobody to help me.
