Liy.

I don't want to betray Pen but the temptation to kill him is becoming out of control...

Help me...

I want to kill...

I need to.

We were searching for Remote in complete silence.
That silence was broken when Pen asked me why we're sparing her.
"Because... you've had history with her. When I killed her, you stayed with her. And because she's... she's m-my best friend." I didn't make eye contact with him throughout my sentences.
"Oh, okay." he replied, not sounding like himself. He was rubbing his eyes sleepily every few seconds.
"Are you okay?" I fixed my sight on him.

No answer.

He stopped walking and so did I.

"Hello?"

"Pen?"

"Are you there?"

"What's wrong with-"

The sound of a twig snapping cut me off. It sounded unintentional.

Someone else to kill.

I stealthily went to the spot where I heard to sound to see Snowball.

Perfect.

I created a flaming scythe and sliced Snowball with it. The melted snow which was his remains slowly spread across the floor. I then returned to Pen, who was still out of reality. I gently tapped him with the scythe.

No reaction.

His eyes then turned a bright white.

"Snap out of it!" I screamed, shaking him violently. His arm moved up as if it was being controlled by a string. He pointed to a shard of glass on the ground. I picked it up and looked at Pen. His finger was locked on the glass. I held it to his face.

That was a mistake.

His reflection appeared in the item but it was talking to me - Alt was talking to me.
What he was saying was unintelligible. But then the glass shattered. I screamed at the top of my lungs for him to come back. I couldn't hear him. He was gone.

Gone.

Pen's eyes then closed as he fell backwards onto the grass. Confused out of my mind, I didn't know what to do. I knelt beside him, whimpering.
"Please wake up... please... wake up..."
