Pen.

I couldn't believe it. Things were going to be back to normal. The temptation to touch the cube was unreal. The angst and fury Liy had when Saw attempted to was the only thing stopping me from trying to. As we were following her, I decided to break the silence by asking Liy a question. "So, what did you wish for?"
Her eyes moved to mine and she flashed a weak smile "It's not important anymore."
"What do we do with the recovery thing?" Blocky asked, pointing to the cube.
"Easy. We do this." Liy threw it to the ground. It shattered into fifty eight pieces, the number of people killed.
"Now what?" Saw kicked a shard away from her.
"They'll he recovered tomorrow. It's over. We did it. There's only one thing left." Liy stared at Remote.
"Yeah?" Remote looked confused.
"Say the thing."
"The thing that happens tomorrow?"
"Yeah."
"...You're going to have to go back."

A single tear sparkled in Liy's eye. It hit one of the dark crystals on the floor. "Thank you."
The lightswitch then picked up the certain shard and held it, not letting go.
"Wait, Saw, doesn't that mean we'll have to die again?" Clock suddenly made a point.
"No. Nobody will remember any deaths or anything that happened. Not even you guys." Liy explained "It's for your own good. You never know if something could slip out and all of a sudden everyone knows about what went down. Trust me, you don't want to have to tell them."
"We defiantly trust you." I winked at her.
"Wait, where will you go?" Grassy asked from the floor.
"She-" Remote began, Liy cutting her off.
"No. Don't tell them. They'll find out."

The next morning came. I don't think I've ever been so happy in my life. Everyone was back. They didn't know anything about... it... I was wondering why I hadn't forgotten yet. Clock, Saw and I were still friends. It was fantastic to see everyone again. I got a few questions about why I was smiling so much and why I was over-friendly but I shrugged it off as just being in a good mood.

It felt like someone was missing...

Liy.
