The Goddess who turns out to just be a girl is captured by the Knight and the Knight wants to bring her to the Queen... Maybe the knight did have feelings for her though and was going to bring her to safety... but since she went with the merc he has no more feelings... and maybe he never did...

Young Wade: y'know you're really funny.. you're not from around here are you?

little girl: ... no i got here back accident..

young wade: do you miss your home?.

little girl: yeah... but... I don't really have one left anymore...

young wade:  oh i'm sorry.... well you can hang out with me! Errrrrrrr... but we can't tell my parents... they'd kill me

little girl: a-are you sure?... I don't wanna cause any trouble...

young wade it's totally fine!

*blurs* *flash forward in the flash back*

Wade: hey.. uh... what would you think if we like... got into a relationship....

Girl: ... I'd love to!

*blurs* *Flash forward*

Wade: Can we get married? 

Girl: i'm not sure if i'm ready for that yet... i'll think about it though

Wade: okay no rush! We have all the time in the world!
