A YEAR LATER

AVRIL'S POV

I walk out, stepping into the limo with Chad by my side. He looks me over with a wink. I'm going to an awards night tonight, I'm wearing a very short black dress with matching black high heels and pink lip stick with light eye make up but heavy make up.

"You look so hot!" He comments looking me over, leaving his eyes staring at my chest.

"Eyes up here," I say reading me as I blush a bright shade of red.

Chad Kroeger is my boyfriend, he is the lead singer of rock band Nickelback. We started dating after we worked together on a song from my upcoming fifth studio album called 'Let Me Go'.

I look down at him as he looks handsome in his suite. I cuddle into him as the limo takes off down the road.

We pull up in front of a blue carpet, flash engulfing the outside of the car. The limo door opens on Chad's side, he steps out, lending his hand out to me. I take his hand, letting him pull me to my feet as he wraps his arm around my waist, holding me close to his side.

The flashes engulf us as Chad leads me up to where we are going to pose for proper photos for tonight. I smile with the fake smile that came to be normal to me.

I walk into the big room where everyone is mingling with smiles on their face.

One face comes into view that I NEVER thought I would we again.. Sophie.

I haven't seen her since that day I publicly outed her as being gay pretty much. Just a month later she came out openly as gay in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. She came out openly gay at 16 years old because I pushed her and that isn't fair.

She walks swiftly over to where I stand with Chad, a beautiful girl with wave honey blonde hair that complements her chocolate brown eyes holds her arm around Sophie's waist as she stands at the same height as Sophie. She is beautiful!

"Hey Av," Sophie's angelic voice speaks so warmly as it is so full of life.

"Hey Soph," I say letting a smile fall onto my lips as I look into those gorgeous green eyes I've missed so much.

"Avril, this is my fiancé Brooklyn Parker," she says with the biggest smile as the woman holding her kisses her cheek.

"Oh, uh, this is my boyfriend Chad Kroeger," I say as Chad kisses the top of my head making me smile.

"We should catch up sometime. But, it was good meeting you Chad and seeing you again Avril," she says sweetly, the walk off taking their seats.

We walk to our seats, sitting next to other stars. The show starts as camera wiz around use as they talk but I can't focus, I can only think of one person.. Sophie.

My phone buzzes in my hand, I grab it looking down at the unknown numbers. I quickly open it, reading it carefully.

'UNKNOWN:

I forgive you Av -from Sophie'

Sorry but this story has come to a end. I have been working on this story for two years and I am very happy and sad for this book to have come to a end. I will be editing this book in a future but I am for now going to be focusing on my three other stories I have going.

There is going to be a sequel to this story. I have already written the prologue. The sequel is called 'Falling Fast'. Look out for it!
