"Micah!" Jeremy said back. I heard a giggled in the background. 'Christine..' I thought. "Whaddya' want?" I say like everything was normal. I then heard a knock at the door. "Are you at my fucking house?" I say, heading downstairs. More giggles. I sigh as I open the door, hanging up the phone. I saw Jeremy and Christine, holding hands, with wide smiles on their faces. "Hey dude," Jeremy started, "Come to the mall with us!" I smiled, "Alright." I grabbed my car keys, unlocking my car, "Get in, losers, we're going shopping!" I mocked. Jeremy and Christine slipped into the back seats, while I hopped into the driver's.
I soon parked in the mall's parking lot, getting out as I locked the car. Jeremy and Christine were already heading towards the door. I ran up to them. 'Maybe they only brought me for a free ride..' I frowned at the thought. I glanced besides me to see Jeremy sling his arm around Christine's shoulder. I scoffed. Jeremy looked over, "What's up, dude?" He said obliviously. I tried to play it off, "Oh, nothing broski!" I smiled nervously. Jeremy shrugged as we all headed in. We walked around for a few hours, then went to the food court for some lunch. We sat down at a table for four with our food. Of course, Jeremy sat next to Christine and I sat on the other side. Alone. I sighed angrily, purposely letting it show.
"Micha?" Jeremy questioned, "What's wrong?" I didn't answer. I knew what I had to do.
(I keep switching from first person to third, I needa' stop.)
