"Michael," Jeremy started, "It means that I've.." He took in a deep breath, "This is going to sound so homo right now." Jeremy chuckled nervously, stalling. I only stare in reply, waiting for him to finish.
"I love you, Michael. I've finally realized that."
My heart melted, but at the same time, my chest tensed up. 'What am I doing?! He still has a girlfriend!' Jeremy began to lean over for a kiss, and I froze. I started leaning away, eventually ending up on my back. Jeremy looked at me, "Michael, what's wrong?" Jeremy whispered.
"You. Still. Have. A. Girlfriend." I said choppily, biting my lip after. Jeremy looked to the ground sadly, "I know, I'll have to man up and tell her the truth. But till then, maybe we can go over to your house and chill?"
I sucked in a breath, "Y.. Yeah, sure." I smiled goofily. Jeremy stood and lifted me off my feet. He carried me bridal style back to my car. He sat me in the front seat, ruffling my hair. I made a puff as he slid into the passengers side and I finally drove off. The rest of the car ride to my house was silent until Jeremy fell asleep. The only sound was the wheels against the pavement and Jeremy's soft snores.
After about an hour, I finally made it home.
(Oof, writing. I wanted to finish this chapter and get it out here for you, sorry for the wait!)
