Brendon's POV.   *Before Ryan opened the door.*

"People! Get the fuck out, and I say that as politely as possible but... Hurry up." I say, clenching my fist. People start filing out. I see Pete tell Patrick something. Then Patrick leaves. Pete stays. Jon and Spencer stay behind too.
"I said get out," I say. Glaring at Pete.
"Damn, you fell hard. We are staying, at one point Ryan was our friend too." Pete says.

"Fucking guy thinks he can ruin Ryan's life! Ryan doesn't deserve this! Wasn't his dad enough?" I'm about to literally walk to the prison Sam is in and beat him up. "Ryan, he deserves better," I grit my teeth.

"We know. God, of course we do." Spencer says. "But right now, he needs people to help him. Someone to listen."

~~~~Ryan comes out~~~~
"Hey, do you want to talk about it?" Jon asks, handing Ryan a glass of water. I hold on to Ryan's hand and give him a reassuring look.
"It... s-started 2 years ago. I met him in a bar, and he was so nice. The f-first like 2 months were amazing. He treated me well and cared about me. T-Then his parents died in a car c-crash and he s-started drinking, a lot. He'd come home at like 3 in the morning and collapse on the floor. I think it was a few months later- I went to New York for a week, and when I got b-back, he destroyed some of my stuff. He s-said he read some s-stuff. Then h-he h-hit me. At first, he'd apologize. B-but then, he started to threaten me, he said he would t-tell the media- and t-tell everyone what happened. A f-few days later h-he... Then he said, I couldn't leave or t-tell anyone what he did, or else.. So I-I stayed and h-he continued to-" Ryan breaks down. I put my arms around him and give him a hug.
"It's okay. It will be."
"And he forced me to- to ignore everyone I cared about... But one night- One night I just had enough. So I-I ran off and the first place I could t-think of w-was Brendon's p-place." He sobs in my arms. It reminds me of the time he first heard his dad in the hospital. Every night, we'd stay up. He talked to me about everything, what he regretted. Then he'd stop and sob in my arms.
"Ryan, I'm so sorry, I didn't know," Spencer says. "I understand you being scared... But- two years?"
"Yeah, two years is a long time," Jon says.
Ryan wipes tears from his eyes. "I- I know it sounds stupid, b-but I can't r-ruin any of your lives- j-just because-"
"Ryan, stop. You went through- literal torture. And for us. You don't have to be sorry, you don't have to explain anything. Just know we are here."
"Y-Yeah." He says with a shaky voice. I grab his hand again and give it a reassuring squeeze. He looks at me with a watery smile.
"Call us if you need any help, just don't leave him alone? Let him know you're here for him." Pete says before walking out the door, Spencer and Jon follow.
I turn to the couch where Ryan is curled up, silently crying. I walk over to him and put an arm around his shoulder.
"I-I thought... After m-my father- I would finally be free- b-but... It just got worse." He says. Leaning his head on my shoulder. I fiddle with a strand of hair.
"I know," I say, wrapping my arms around his waist.
