I'm Fine (#Wattys2015)

We finally make it home. The last ten minutes were filled with silence after our fight. Me and Mom had had a few fights before but never as big as this one. Mostly they were over what to eat or who had to do the laundry.

Mom parks the car in the garage and I get out. Of course she parked it so that there was less space for me to get out. Since I am skinny, I fit in that space that she did leave, thankfully.

"Thanks, Mom."

"You for out. Therefore, you are fine." That is what she answers?

I walk around the car and into the house. Walking to the kitchen I see a note on the back of the front door. Huh?

I walk closer to it and read it.

I'm watching you. :x

What the actual fuck? I grab it off the door and take it with me up to my room. I wonder who this could be from, who it got into my house.

I open my bedroom door and walk inside. Nothing seems to be wrong. I walk around the room once or twice (can't remember which) but nothing seems out of place or new...

I finally go to my desk and get my journal from one of the drawers. I grab a pen and open the journal up to the next clean sheet of paper.

Dear Journal,

The funeral was not as bad as I thought it would be. I was scared I would mess up at the front. But when I looked out into the crowd, people were nodding their heads as if they liked what I was saying. I got a few looks but yeah.

Made a new friend while I waz there. His name is Nick Rodgers. He has cool shoes. No, I do not have romantic feeling for him. I just want a friend to help me. I do not need a boyfriend right now. I think I would screw it up and we'd end up wasted. See what I did there? No ok, well you are not alive...
 
Also, on the way home me and mom had a fight. This one was bad. Like I practically said she was not my mom. What if she hates me?
