Chapter 1: Beowulf

"I'm Beowulf from Geatland."

Red blinked worriedly, "What? No you aren't, goodbye." he slammed to door on the creep's face while saying to himself, "No way, that can't have happened again. We haven't had our dimension intruded in a while, it couldn't have happened..."

A voice called down the stairs, it was Red's mom, "Red? Are you okay?" She walked down the stairs, her hair was half combed and she was still in her slippers.

Red blinked, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you, you can go back to bed it's fine." He started to walk away from the door but again it burst open. "GAH! No! Leave my house you creep!" Yelled Red angrily leaping to close the door. But it did nothing, Beowulf stepped inside nonetheless..

The king glanced at Red and then looked at his mother, "Who is the ruler of this house?"

She blinked, obviously surprised, "Sir, this is my house, please leave before I call the international police." She was already moving towards the phone on the wall.

"Wait! Miss, I asked you, who is the ruler of this house." Beowulf grabbed her arm to stop her from picking up the phone.

She shook him off, "I already told you, I am the ruler of this house! Now leave!" Grabbing a broom she pushed him to the door with the end of it.

"I am a king! Listen to me women! I will-" He yelled as she pushed him out the door, she didn't care and cut him off by slamming the door and locking it, peeking out the window she scowled at him more but he wasn't looking, he kept walking.

He said to himself, "What a strange village this is, and what strange people, to yell at a king! Oh well, next I shall ask where the ruler of this place is." He kept walking till he came to the next house, he rapped on the door three times, three was his favorite number after all.

A tall, fair skinned brown haired girl in a black dress opened the door, "What do you want?" She asked while crossing her arms. "Wait," she looked him up and down and then leaned on the door frame, "dimension traveler are you?" she had a satisfied look of triumph on her face. "I'm thinking you want to know where our 'ruler' lives?"

Beowulf nodded uncertainly, no monster had ever scared him like this girl was scaring him, "Yes, can you lead me to him, Lady?"

She sniffed, "Call me Green, of course I can lead you there," she laughed, "if your really that thick and can't tell already."

Beowulf stifled the urge to punch the irritating girl in the face, "I am not thick, I am a king." his voice was a low growl.

"Try to scare me eh? That isn't going to work, but come on, tee hee, I'll take you to my friend's house," She jumped over him and literally hit the ground running. Calling over her shoulder, "Well? What are you waiting for?"

"Hey!" Beowulf yelled starting to chase after her and up a hill to a large house on the top.

She knocked on the door once they got there, "Oh Blue! Can you open the door please? I have something to show you!"

A voice called from beyond the door, "If it's another eevee I'll kill you!"

She sighed, "No it's not another eevee, you already have too many, It's something else, something you might like."

Beowulf leaned down and whispered in her ear, "Are all the servants here so rude?"

"Ha!" she laughed, "Yep, he is like a servant to our leader! And no, the other one isn't as rude as this one."
