Lost girl

Lexi remembered the friendly conversation she had with her new neighbor from yesterday and started to blush.
He was kinda cute-
No, no, don't think like that! He's just your neighbor, maybe a friend but nothing more!
A loud noise snapped her out of thoughts.
"Good morning, Lex!" Jake awkwardly spat out as he got up. He was climbing out from his window and fell.
"A-are you okay?"
"I'm f-fine don't worry about it!"
Lexi's cheeks turned a little pink. "O-okay..."
Jake walked toward her window. "Mind if I come in?" He smiled, completely brushing off the awkward moment they just shared.
"Y-yea, come right in." She opened up the window wide and let Jake jump through it. He fell, but got up again like nothing happened.
"I saw your face was really red before I came," Jake had a concerned expression. "Are you okay? Are you sick?"
"N-no! I'm fine, I was just... S-spacing out..."
"Oh... I know a good place you could space out at!" His face lit up again "Are you a garden or forest person?"
"H-huh?"
"Its a simple question..." He stated. "Unless your like me and like both equally."
"...f-forest, I guess..."
"Would you like to go to a forest with me?" A faint pink blush clouded over Jake's face.
"That'd be cool!" Lexi's cheeks turned dark red.
"Awesome! We will meet tomorrow at 8pm. I'll have a little gift for you there. "
"Okay!"
Jake slid out the window. "Bye for now!"
"Bye!" Lexi called out.

... Okay. So maybe I do like him.
Lexi got lost in thought.
