*Flower Crown* (Pastel! Jake x Lexi)

Cant help

Before going to bed, Lexi noticed yet another envelope on the windowsill. This one was a cinnamon red. She opened it and read.

Dear Lexi,
   I honestly can't help falling in love with you. What's not to love? Your personality is so bubbly and kind, your beautiful and I could write a novel with many more reasons your amazing. Maybe one day you'll know who I am. But for now, I'll just stay anonymous.

Lexi was puzzled yet again. She set it on the same shelf as the other one and tucked herself in to go to sleep.

Lexi's alarm harshly rang in her ears. She turned it off and got up to find an outfit. She wore a heathers shirt and shorts and tied a pink hoodie around her waist in case she got cold. She stepped out the house and saw Jake across the street at their bus stop. They went to the same school but weren't in the same grade so they didn't see each other much. Lexi ran up to him and wanted to say hi but instead made an awkward silence.
"Good morning, Lex."
"Morning flower boy."
"Have any tests today?"
"Y-yea..."
"I hope you do well." Jake warmly smiled. Lexi smiled back at him.
The bus came and they walked to their assigned seats. Lexi started humming to herself and thought to herself.
I can't help falling in love with him.
