Third Person P.O.V.

Every Monday morning, Lieutenant Anderson's daughter would come to the precinct and bring him a box of donuts and coffee to cheer him up. Hank appreciated the gesture, and the extra time he got to see his daughter, since she'd gotten her own apartment a couple years back.

It was one of those Monday mornings; it just so happened to be Connor's first encounter with the woman. He saw her walk in, her (h/c) hair bouncing with each step (Picture above). The android didn't recognize her, so his first instinct was to do a scan on her face.

(Y/N) Anderson
DOB: M/#/2015
Criminal Record: None

Since the male android had recently chosen to deviate from his program, he couldn't help the flutter in his thirium pump at the attractive woman. He knew exactly what it meant, yet he pushed it aside anyway. It was his friend's daughter after all.

"Hey, Pops," she said as she set the donuts and coffee down on his desk. As usual, she took a glazed donut for herself, biting into the soft pastry.

"Hey, sweetheart. I really need this coffee, thank you," he grumbled as he brought the DPD travel mug to his lips.

"Are you trying to shake a hangover again?" (Y/N) asked in a scolding tone.

"I only drank enough to get a little headache. Don't worry about me, kiddo," he sugar coated the previous night. He passed out on the floor, and Connor once again broke through his window. Hank made him pay for a new one for the second time.

"Actually, Lieutenant," Connor started, drawing (Y/N)'s attention for the first time. "I had to drag you to bed while you drunkenly ordered Sumo to attack me. Again," the deviant smirked as he told the truth.

"Dad," (Y/N) whined disapprovingly.

"Listen, I'm fine. Connor will keep an eye on me. Damn kid never leaves me alone," he said as he gave a pointed look to Connor. He didn't mean any harm though, (Y/N) and Connor could both tell it was his fatherly teasing.

"Speaking of Connor, it's nice to meet you. Dad told me quite a bit about you," she said as she brought her hand towards the android. He took her hand and shook it twice, having learned that humans shake each other's hands as a greeting.

"It's nice to meet you, too, (Y/N)," he responded. "Should I be worried about the things your father has said about me?"

"Maybe a little bit," she mumbled with a smile.

"Figured," the android chuckled. (Y/N) looked surprised at the action.

"If you don't mind me asking, are you a deviant?" she asked as politely as she could.

"Yes," he answered. "Although I no longer have orders from my program, I was able to keep my job here. With rising rights for androids, I'm officially a detective for the DPD." The android proudly showed his badge to the girl, and she smiled at his enthusiasm for his job. If only Dad was that excited, she thought to herself.

"That's impressive. Detroit better watch out for the new Robocop," she joked.

"Alright, enough flirting, you two," Hank interjected as he could sense the two had an interest in each other. "Connor, we have a new homicide case to investigate. And keep your tongue away from the evidence!" he ordered.

"No promises, Hank," Connor smiled. "I'll see you around, (Y/N)."

The duo left the precinct, but instead of going to a crime scene, Connor recognized the place as Gary's burger truck: the guy who broke health codes.

"Hank, I thought we had a homicide to investigate," Connor said curiously.

"No, I just wanted to get you away from my daughter," Hank corrected. "But it will be a homicide if you hurt her. Got it, son?"

Connor smiled at Hank's fatherly nature. "Got it."
