Bev's POV

The boys crouded around me to see if I was ok. I told them I was and Bill helped me to my feet. "Thank you so much you guys," I said pulling them all into a group hug.

"Bevy what are you doing," a very familiar, scary voice said. I pushed the boys away and stiffened.

"Nothing daddy," I said looking into his crazy eyes that made me feel like I was burning in hell. "These boys just saved me fro-" I started but he cut me off.

"Go inside right now Bevy." My dad said growing angry but trying to keep his voice calm. His left eye had started twitching which happens when he's super mad. Needless to say it wasn't working.

"But-," I started again.

"NOW," he yelled. I flinched and the whole group saw it. By the look on Bill's face he knew something was wrong between me and my dad.

"Find my room, be by the window in 10 minutes and bring the gang." I said to Bill under my breathe only loud enough for him to hear me.

"What was that Bevy," My dad said a challenge rising in his voice.

"I said yes daddy of course," I lied giving one last longing look towards the losers club. When I was inside I could hear my father yelling at my friends. When he came inside he looked like he wanted to kill me.

"Bevy, what were you doing with all of those boys and why were you hugging them." He said trying to hold back some of his crazy.

"They saved me from a really bad guy that ambushed me outside and so I hugged them as a way to thank them." I said, not telling him the whole truth, but not lying either. He walks up to me and pushes me to the ground and puts his foot on my chest, basically reminding me how inferior I am to him.
"You're making me think that your not my little girl any more Bevy." He said, his voice raising a little with every word.
"I am daddy, I swear." I said basically pleading with him. He slapped me hard across the face and went into, the kitchen. I sat on the ground for a moment then ran to my room. I quickly closed the door and locked myself in my room. There was a knocking sound coming from my window and I knew it was the boys. I quickly opened it. When I looked at their faces there mouths were hanging open. There was a long awkward silence.

"Did your dad do that to your face?" Stan asked being the first one to speak. I nodded.
"How long has this been going on?" Mike asked looking down.
"Ever since my mom died," I answer truthfully. There's really no point in lying to them.

"Is t-t-this what Henry w-was talking about?" Bill askied thinking about the other day. Again, I nodded.
"He must have followed me home the other day and saw my dad and I disagree," I said. Trying to think about which day he followed me home. I went back into my room and grabbed a really old backpack that contained a brush and some extra clothes that I know fit me. "Step back." I said. They all stepped back and I climbed through my window after unlocking my door.

"But won't your dad get really mad at you?" Eddie asked.

"Probably," I said smiling. "But he cant do anything if I'm not here." I walked around to the front of my house and grabbed my bike. "Whose house can I stay at tonight?" I said and turned around. All the boys except Eddie and Mike had their hands up. I understood because I knew they would be in deep trouble if their parents find out (for Mike he would get in trouble with his uncle because his parents died.).
I decided we should all sleep at the same place.
"How about we all sleep in the same place... Like a sleep over?" I asked. They nodded and Mike spoke up.
"Well I guess we could do it in the barn behind my house and nobody would know" we all looked at each other and nodded.

We rode to each boys house so they could ask if they could have a sleep over. Even Eddie's mom said yes, although it was very reluctant. We rode to Mike's house as fast as we could and went in the barn while Mike went to get him and I both a pillow and blanket (all the other boys brought their own). When he came back we made a giant fort out of the blankets by tieing them to posts. We all layed close together.
"So what are we going to,do about the clown?" Mike asked. It was the question on everyone's mind that nobody wanted to address.

"W-we're gonna k-k-kill It." Bill said. "We have to make s-s-s-sssure the rest of the k-kids in this town are ss-s-safe." Bill said slowly trying not,to stutter. I nodded.

"I might have some, information that could help." Ben said. After that nobody said anything. One by one we all drifted off to sleep.
