After Chan successfully convinced me, he booked the same flight that I was in and picked the seat next to me using my credit card. When I asked him why, he answered that I might miss him too much and that resulted to me glaring at him.
He is so conceited! Well, he does have a right to be. He is handsome.
We had dinner with only McDonald's because let's face it, I earn about $715 per month and I had to pay my late father's debt and my mother's hospital bills and maintenance medicines plus our electricity and water bills too. I do save a lot by walking to work and bringing my own lunch and if not, I try and get myself full with water. I know it's a vacation but I think that spending less isn't a bad option since I am now paying for 2 people.
Anyways, we used the app of McDonald's to have our food delivered. I ordered
"McDonald's in the Philippines is different than here in the US." I said.
"I know. I've been to the Philippines before." He said as he took out the food from the bag.
"Really? What for?"
"For work." He said. "I go to the Philippines at least once a year- maybe twice."
"Are you a businessman?" I asked.
He chuckled and shook his head, "No."
He looked at me and asked, "Have you ever been to South Korea?"
"No." I said. "But I want to."
"Really? You should go! I'll tour you around." He said.
"Maybe I could." I said. "I'll think about it."
"Why? How long is your vacation?" He asked.
"Three months." I answered.
He snapped his fingers, "Come back with me to Seoul then! You'll have the best time, I promise!"
I chuckled as response. We ate and got ready for bed. We slept and when morning came, we got ourselves ready and I went to take a bath first followed by Chan. We checked out of the room. Ella already paid for the room. I sighed and walked out with Chan.
"You look sour." He said.
"It's nothing." I said as I straightened my plain white shirt.
He called a cab and we sat inside. "What is it?"
"It just feels like I don't deserve this at all." I said.
"You work too hard. You deserve a vacation- heck! Even on vacation you're still working." He said.
"I meant the situation between me and my best friend and ex boyfriend." I said.
"You can tell me." He assured me.
"Do you know the feeling like you know somebody but all of a sudden you feel like you don't know them at all?"
"Trust me, I know the feeling." He said.
