My Unexpected Love

Chapter 22

Nicoles POV

when i hopped out of the shower and got dressed, i walked out into the family room and there stood all of the girls.

"Sit." Adina said

"why?" i asked while crossing my arms and giving them death stares

"well  first off, we just go you back, and for some reason you are all moody and you won't even tell us why!" Kati added

"you really wanna know!"

"Yeah!" Courtney replied

then i sat down "well when i got home i went out and met this guy named Luke, we hung out for a little and then i just went home. Then the next day i went to Louis-"

"I tried to warn you." Kati said

"just let me finish, well i found out the news and i was really hurt so i went to Luke's and we were just hanging out, and then he kissed me."

"Did you kiss him back?!?!" Adina asked

"Yes."

"So Louis or Luke!?" they all asked

"i-i-i don't know..." i stammered back "I love Louis, but he has Maddie now... so do you think Luke could help me? or is this all a waste of time?"

"is what a waste of time?" Courtney asked

"that's not the important part" i know they knew what i meant, i wanted to know is my life a waste of time, because right now it sure feels like it is... Why couldn't i of just forgotten my past like most people in comas? I know people must think i'm crazy for saying that, but i would of been so nice to just get a new start...

"what do you guys think i should do?"

"i think you need to talk to Louis again, but you need to get him alone" Courtney suggested

"but how?"

"Well they are going to be in the studio recording tomorrow, meet them there when they are done?" Adina added

"okay, but what if that just makes it worse?"

"You need to talk to him, just him, you will never know how he feels when he is around Maddie"  The sound of her name made me cringe, just to think she used to be my best friend, but last time i checked best friends don't get engaged to the boy you love.

"okay i will go, but i need to sleep now i am tired"

i went off to my room, and that got me thinking, i needed to get a job, fast...

today i was going to talk to Louis, I don't know what i was going to say or how i was going to start a conversation, but some how i will...

Louis POV

I was so tired, i have spent the whole day in the studio and i finally got to go home, but i saw a familiar person outside if the studio...

it was Nicole. crap. Not like i had a problem with her, it was the opposite, i am to worried if i am around her to much i would  tell her how i feel, but the problem with that is Maddie...

I tried to not notice Nicole, but she can right up to me, i guess there will be no ignoring her...

"hey i need to talk to you" she said

"um okay what's up?"

"I just need to know why you did it?"

"did what?"

"gave up on me..." she said with her hands in her pocket and she was staring at the ground

"the doctor didn't give me much hope..."

"i still thought what we had was better than that..."

"it is"

"wait did you just say is?"

"i guess i did..."

"what do you mean by that?" she asked

"Nicole i have and i always will love you..."

"then why did you give up?"

"it's just not that simple..."

"Why! i don't get it! You love me, i love you, but we can't be together! Why!" she started yelling

"Because i would be breaking someones heart in the process!" i yelled beck

"well your breaking mine right now. I am done with you Louis Tomlinson. Forever"

"Wait Nicole!"

"what is there to wait for! you already said no that's all i needed! goodbye." and she left, i knew there was no point in trying to stop her, but i wasn't to give up. Not yet.

Nicoles POV

"Hello" Luke answered on the second ring

"Can we talk? it's Nicole"

"sure you can come over now if you want"

"okay i will be there in five minutes"

when i got there my mind was set. I finally figured everything out. i rang the doorbell and he answered right away

"Nicole have you been cry-" but i cut him off  when i smashed my lips on his, at first he was confused but it didn't take him long to kiss back

"i thought you just wanted to be friends, well after last night?" he asked after he finally pulled away...

"I guess you were wrong" i said while kissing him again

but he pulled back right away "i am not sure about this..." he said

"I thought you wanted this yesterday?"

"i did, i mean i do, but why now? i don't just want to be your rebound so you can get over your ex...." he replied

"I just needed some time to think, and i am already over him"

"in one day?"

"I should of know it was never going to last, i didn't fit into his famous life, and i never will... but you are perfect for me"

"well when you put it that way i guess it's ok.." and he pulled me into another kiss, everything about this felt wrong, one i just lied to him, he is my rebound... i feel so horrible about that, but eventually i will get over Louis... right?
