My Unexpected Love

Chapter 24

sorry i haven't wrote for so long! I have been so busy not doing my homework! I am going to fail my first homework assignment of the year! i am so screwed... oh well!

Nicoles POV

Me and Louis both went back to my place, well Kati's place, but tomorrow i was supposed to go look for my own place so i wouldn't be in her hair anymore.

We were in my room making out and we heard something, but we figured it was nothing because Kati just left to go on tour.

"Hey Nicole- Wait what the hell!! you guys are a thing, but Maddie and Luke? And what happened to no more secrets Nicole?" Kati said while barging into my room, she looked a bit mad but mainly confused

i looked at Louis and he saved me "Kati don't be mad at Nicole, this is my fault, and anyways this," he said while pointing to me and himself "just happened, so she couldn't of told you yet anyways..."

"oh okay.."

"And i thought you left on tour why are you here anyways?" i asked Kati

"I forgot a few things, but i have to go now, and there will be a lot more of explaining to do when i get back!"

and just like that she was gone...

"wow that was really uh bad..." Louis said while breaking the silence

"tell me about it... anyways what um are we?"

"I don't really know..."

"I might love you, but this does not make anything we are doing right... I think maybe we should hold up on this until we figure out what we are, because i don't want Luke finding out about this..."

"are you and Luke serious?" Louis asked with a little bit of a jealous tone

"not really i guess..." wow could he try to make this anymore awkward..

"wanna get some food?" he asked sounding a lit bit relieved

"sure"

we decided to go to nandos there were a few fans asking for signatures from Louis and while he was doing that a girl came up to me

"hi aren't you Nicole?"

"um yeah you still remember me?"

"of course! You and Louis are so perfect together!!"

"um you mean were?"

"oh i just figured you guys got back together"

"nope, him and Maddie are still together..."

"ugg" she said in a annoyed tone

"don't you like Maddie?"

"no! she's not very nice..."

"really? why?"

"she hates the fans, she say were annoying, and when ever she's with Louis she won't let him talk to us."

"oh i'm sorry.."

"don't be sorry it's not your fault! anyways i have to go bye!"

she left and ran off to a group of girls

"what was that about?" Louis asked me

"oh noting important don't worry!"

"okay"

***********************************************the  next day********************************************

Today I was going to look at apartments and houses, and sadly Adina and Courtney went on tour with Kati so Maddie thought it would be fun if she went with me.... I know for sure today was not going to be a fun day...

I met up with my agent, Mark, that was going to be showing me apartments and houses, Maddie said she would meet us at the first place...

The first place was very close to Louis old house which made my head flood with memories, but my thought got interrupted by Maddie's shrieking voice

"Nicole!! hey aren't you so excited!!"

"yep!" i tried to say in the happiest voice possible

"alright then lets go!"

the three of us headed inside the house, it was okay, but i didn'tlike it much after that we went to two apartments, then we were going to go to one more house for the day.

"so this is the last place for the day" Mark announced

i was a lot farther out of the city, but it was perfect it was a stone cottage, it was to small but it wasn't huge either, i loved it and i haven't even been inside it yet! (there's a pic  on the side!)

We went through the kitchen, it had a very home like felling, then entered the open dining and living area, which was a pretty big space, then we looked at 3 bedrooms, all about the same size, and two bathrooms.

"Are you ready for the bast part?" Mark asked and i nodded my head yes

we walked up these little stairs up to a huge master bedroom, it was absolutely perfect, then i waled to the bathroom that it was connected to.

It was twice the size of the one at Kati's, it had a big shower with jets from all the sides and it had one of those old fashion tubs that were above the ground, i loved it!

then i left the bathroom and wallked out to a balcony looking out to my small backyard, but if you looked past that you could see the whole city it was truly incredible.

"This is the one!" i said

"Are you sure?" Mark asked

"yes! when can i sign the papers?"

he gave me all the information and i would be able to move in the house in a week.

Me and Maddie were trying to hold up a normal conversation on the ride back because she was taking me home, so it wouldn't be awkward.

I was getting out of the car, but Maddie stopped me.

"before you go, let's make one thing clear. I don't care if you had Louis first, but he is mine now. I swear if you lay a finger on him you will regret it for the rest of you life. got it." Maddie said while sending me daggers through her eyes

i ran out of that car as fast of my legs could take me, i know we used to be best friends, and that's what makes me more scarred... i know what she is capable of. And let me put it this way, after an "accident" in 10th grade, all the girls learned not to try anything with Maddie's boyfriends...
