My Unexpected Love

Chapter 37

Nicoles POV

We were on a plane back to LA and all I can think about is that the paparazzi found me… I’m scarred to know what they are saying, but one thing is for sure it can’t be anything good… I can just imagine on the news “Louis Tomlinson’s ex is alive?” I can’t say anything to the girls right now because they already have enough stress on them with planning the wedding, I mean it’s four months away! I just need someone to go to with all of this…

We just landed and I checked my phone to see that I have four missed calls, but I don’t know the number but I call them back anyways…

They answer on the first ring “Nicole?”

“yes, that’s me, who is this?”

“your mom. Now start explaining.” After hearing those words my stomach didn’t feel so good, how could I ever of forgot about my family? I should of told them I was alive.

After 30 minutes of my mom screaming at me she hung up. Tears were now pouring out of my eyes, While the rest of the girls were waiting outside for the boys to gets us, I was in a bathroom stall crying, until I was interrupted by a knock on the door…

“It’s me, let me in” a very familiar british voice ran through my ears.

I fumbled to open the door, but the second it opened I fell into Lou’s arms, crying softly. He quietly shushed me, and rubbed my back comfortingly, until I pulled away and looked into his blue orbs.

“Why Louis?” I asked him, my voice was trembling while I tried to stop the tears.

“why what?” he asked

“Why did this all happen to me? I just don’t understand what I did to deserve it…”

“Nicole look at me,” he said while putting his hand under my chin and raising my head so our eyes were locked “you didn’t do anything to deserve all of this, the world has weird ways of working and most of the time it’s not fair, I understand, it kills me to see the girl I love in so much pain, I miss your smile and the sparkle in your eyes whenever you laugh. I want to see that girl again, but you have gotten through the bad parts of life for now, so then it can only get better. It will get better.”

“How do you know that? How are you so sure?” I asked

“just look at this.” He pulled out his phone and clicked on the twitter button, I have no clue why he is showing me this it will just be a lot of girls talking about how they wish I really was dead. But then I started looking at some tweets like

‘I am so happy Nicole is back, maybe Louis will go back to his old self now!’ or ‘thank god Nicole is alive, now so is our Boo bear’

Of course there were bad ones, but compared to the good ones it was nothing. I can’t believe people are happy I’m alive.

“they really are happy I’m alive?” I asked Lou

“of course why wouldn’t they, I mean all the fans adored you before.”

“if only my family would feel this way…”

“they found out?” he asked and I just nodded yes

“give them time, it’s a lot to take in a once, don’t think for a minutes that they aren’t happy cause trust me they are, but it is a  big shock, last that they knew you were dead, then all of a sudden you are all over the news. Trust me they are very happy.”

I didn’t even know how to respond to that, so I just pulled him into a huge hug.

“thank you Louis, I really don’t know what I would do without you.” I really don’t know what I would do without him right now, no matter how much I love friends and how they can comfort me, Louis just gets me unlike everyone else in the world, he knows how to make me safe, even in the scariest moments. I just know he will be there for me…

“alright now let’s go the rest of the group is waiting for us” he grabbed me by the hand and pulled me out of the bathroom

“wait you were just in the girls bathroom! Why didn’t you just get one of the girls to come?”

“Because love, I wanted to be the one to do it, but never speak of it because the boys would never let me forget that I went in there!”

“alright fine, but for a price!”

“and what may that be?”

“You must take me on a date! And it has to be before next week because I am going back to school then.”

“I can do that, but why are you going to school when you have a rich boyfriend that will never get to see you if you stay in LA.”

“Because Lou, I don’t want to have to rely on you for everything, I want to have my own money, and my own career.”

“But I thought you were going to come on tour with us?”

“Okay how about this, how much longer are you in LA?”

“Like a week and a half I think.”

“I will think about possibly coming with you, but I am going to continue my classes online! Deal?”

“deal! Okay now let’s run cause they are really going to be waiting for us now!”

We met up with everyone, and there were a lot of question, but thankfully Louis just told them to drop it and that I would explain later If I wanted to.

When we got home we all crashed, it seems like we all had a really long day…

*the date*

We all decided that we were going to go on a group date, but it was going to be Zayn, Kati, Niall, Adina, Louis, and me.

Kati was wearing blue skinny jeans with a fancy short sleeved button up white top, along with some tan 3inch heels that just cover her ankles. Adina was wearing denim skinny jeans with a cute black leather jacket with some black boots that came right below her knee and had a small heel. I was wearing white capris with a baby blue blazer, along with some baby blue toms.

The boys all picked us up, but blindfolded all of us before we left the car to our destination.  They all led us into a building until they told us to take our blindfolds off, and in front of us was a huge rock climbing wall continuing to a huge obstacle course with two sides.

“boys against girls?” I asked and they just nodded devilishly.

We all changed into exercising clothes that matched our team color, girls blue, boys red. We got ready to race, it was girlfriend against boyfriend. Starting off with Kati and Zayn, then Adina and Niall, and lastly me and Louis.

It started with a rock climbing wall, then a rope swing, after that a net you had to crawl under, and then a huge foam pit.

The first buzzer went off and Kati and Zayn took off over the climbing wall, until you could no longer see them. Soon enough the buzzer for us went off and Adina started right away, but Niall wasn’t far behind her. I was got all ready to go then I looked over at Louis, and he was looking at me and I mouthed “you’re going down” then both of our buzzer went off at almost the same time. I scrambled up to the top of the climbing wall faster than Louis, but he wasn’t too far behind. I grabbed onto to rope swing and held on to it for dear life, and let go right on time to land on the next platform, Louis and me landing at the same time. Then we both got on our knees and made our way under the net, but Louis finished before me. But when we got to the foam pit I jumped over Louis running as fast as I could possibly go, Louis was right on my tail, but I could see the finish. He started to get a bit ahead of me, but at the last moment I jumped as far as possible and my hand hit the finish line right before him.

“Oh my gosh! We won!” i squealed while I was out of breath. I ran up to the girls and gave them a huge hug.

Victory is ours!

This was like a super random chapter sorry!! Plus it was kinda shortL but if you didn’t notice from now on I will normally be updating on Sundays because that’s the only time I can! Well technically I should be studying… but oh well! But I am super excited cause I am finally getting a new itouch! I am gonna get the blue one! Anyways now I am going to go back to my boring life of studying… byee! Thanks for reading! love you all!
