My Unexpected Love

Chapter 33

Louis POV

i didn't wait a second longer to run into her arms, i know that's probably the last thing she wanted but i missed her so much i couldn't let her get away again. Strangely she hugged me back which caused a tingling sense in my stomach. After i felt like she has been in my arms forever i pulled back to get a better look at her.

 She was much thinner than before and her face has become much more hallow, now that i think about it all of the muscle that used to be on her arm and legs were no longer there, it was just really bones which worried me quite much. If i didn't see her from the front i wouldn't of even recognized her because most of her hair was chopped off and it was no longer the beautiful golden color i used to adore, but a midnight sky black, it almost had a tint of blue in it. But her captivating purple eyes were still there, she finally looked happy again which made it very hard for for me to not just burst out in a full grin. but there was still the question how is she even alive?

"Is that really you Nicole?" I asked her almost in a whisper and she slowly nodded yes "But how?"

"I was never dead." she replied simply

"what do you mean?" i was starting to get confused

"i never killed myself, i made it look that way, and then i ran away so you wouldn't look for me..." she said shyly

"did the girls always know?"

"No. they found out last night"

"So are you going to stay?"

"well that is only if you want me to..."

"are you kidding me! of course i want you to! you have no clue how much i missed you! i still love you Nicole, more than ever."

"i love you too..." she whispered as if not wanting me to hear

"so where does that leave us?" i asked hopefully

"i don't know... I am not really sure if i can even trust you after you tore out my heart and smashed it to pieces. you do realize i may never be able to trust you, what you did hurt. a lot."

i just felt my heart break into a million pieces. i thought i finally got the girl back that i love so much, but then she had to add the last part... I don't even know what i was expecting i mean, i should of figured that she would of said no. I can't even go a day without thinking about what i did to her, just thinking what i would do if i could take it all back. All back to the night of the accident, i should of stopped her and saved her, everything would be so much better now, but you can't just take things back. Sadly life doesn't work like that.

"hey Nicole is tha- oh Louis um hi. you know i am going to go see what the other girls are doing..." Sonja said

"hey wait up i am going with you" Nicole stated while just leaving me at the door standing alone with a mood less expression, still not sure what to make out of what just happened. Then four laughing boys came up to me.

 "Hey mate what's wrong? you look  pale." Zayn stated

 and i just simply pointed to inside the hotel room. They all gave me weird looks but proceeded into the hotel room anyways.

 after a minute or two i heard a loud squeal come from inside so i ran in to see all of my best friends with their arms wrapped tightly around Nicole. I am figuring she explained more about what happened. 

Everyone talked with here for awhile then Harry came over to me

"Hey mate how are you feeling about all this?" he asked

"I don't know... i mean i am really happy that she is alive and here, but it doesn't seem like she wants anything to do with me..."

"Give her time, she just got back together with everyone, this is probably a lot for her to handle to"
