The last I remember of Cosette was her ramblings about that infuriating castle on a cloud that she would never shut up about.
"There is a castle on a cloud... I like to go there in my sleep....." I wish that she'd let me sleep back all those years ago.
I met Marius pontmercy when I was 16. I'm not the lovey Dovey type, but for me it was love at first sight. I grew to adore his voice, the curve of his lips but he never loved me back. It was probably about when I was 19 that Cosette came back into my life. I remember that moment he first locked eyes on her. It felt as though I wasn't there. " 'ponine, will you do something for me?". I shouldn't of ever done what I did next, because I knew deep down, that was the end of the fairytale that never came true...
