Happy Thanksgiving fellow Americans! Im in Tennessee now actually. The ride here was really boring. This is the shortest chapter in this book. Okay enjoy!
Zora's POV
Dark turns me looking scared, which is odd. He quickly turns back around and snaps his fingers and the stranger instantly goes limp. He grabs my arm and drags me out of the room and up the stairs then up another set of stairs and down another hall before opening another door and pushing me into it.
"You, stay. I'll be back shortly," Dark says and shuts the door before I could answer. I sit on the floor in confusion about what happened not even five minutes ago.
Did he call me his daughter? That's just plain bullcrap. There is no way I'm his daughter, Mark even said so.
Could I trust them?
The thought came out of nowhere but it really should've been asked a long time ago. All they really did was kidnap me and push me around. Never explained my reasoning here, never explained how I got here, and never explained where I am.
I sit there thinking for a few minutes before I hear the door creak open. In comes Darkiplier holding a box that seems to be wrapped in wrapping paper with the paper being blue stripes.
"Hey, Zora. I am dearly sorry about earlier. I was just trying to make him stop teasing you. To be honest, that insult was terrible," Dark states.
"Yeah, absolute garbage." I nod in agreement with his statement. He nods before handing me the box,"what's this for?"
"It's a forgiveness present that I got you. It's to entertain you when there is no one around. It also is the only item that connects to the overworld but you should really open it before I say any more," He explains before acting like he's zipping his mouth closed.
I just nod before tearing off the paper. Under the paper is a box, with a laptop on it. Not just any laptop, but a gaming one with 64 GB of memory. I jump in excitement and try to open the box but Dark stops me.
"What should you say?" Dark commands putting his hand on the box.
"Oh, yeah, thank you Darkiplier," I say awkwardly. He just nods and moves his hand so I can open the box. I pull out the charger first, then the laptop. The laptop is beautiful with a decently big screen while still being lightweight," why did you get this for me exactly?"
"So you could distract yourself," Dark says slyly.
"You know I could watch YouTube on this and get on social media and tell them your real and trying to kill me right?" I say like a smart alack. He nods and shrugs it off.
"Well have fun working it out. I'll be downstairs if you need me. Please don't go out to try to explore, I will have someone take you on the tour, specifically whoever you want to take you. The only rule would be that they are an alter ego of Mark, as they are the only ones that know the castle," Dark says and walking out the door, leaving me by myself in this room that I had no care to explore.
Now that I think about it I look around the room. It's another bedroom but instead, the walls are a royal blue and there's a bed in the corner that has purple bed sheets and a white pillow on it. The floor is a thin carpet that feels nice on my fingers. I pick up the laptop and its charger and walk over to a desk and chair that's in the other corner of the room before pulling off my shoes and socks and toss them to the door. Time to turn on the laptop.
***A Difficult Time Skip***
I got everything situated on my laptop when I hear a knock on my door. I stand up from the chair and walk over to the door to open. It's someone I would have never expected to meet, pink mustache and all. It's Wilford Warfstache.
