Zora's POV
"Zora we need to talk," Googleplier says to me when Celine leaves the room.
"Talk about what?" I say in a chirpy voice. Google looks at me with a face of concern.
"Dark may not be back for a while, and until then we have to teach you how to control your power. With Celine here, it may or may not be easier to do so. So, starting today we will teach you to control it and not let it control you," he explains to me. I just nod in understanding and slight confusion.
"How can I control something I never knew I had until recently?" I ask him. He ignores it and stands out of his chair and grand my hand.
"Let us start this training now," he infers. I just nod, a little uncomfortable, and follow him as he walks out of the room and through a few different ways until we reach what seems to be a training room, with the walls padded nicely.
"Welcome to the room of trainers and trainees alike. This is where some of us go to when we need to let out some steam. Today, we are going to educate you on being calm and rational," Google explains as he shuts the door behind us and walks into the middle of the room.
I stand near the doorway slightly confused. He ushers me over and I do so, staying about two feet from him. He lightly pushes me over until we are perpendicular to the wall behind him. He grabs my hands and holds them apart.
"These are the source of power. They can do many things. Some may be good, some can cause extreme chaos and destruction. When you become the leader, it's your job to decide what they do. Now being calm and collective leads to the better side. The part of destruction is from being irrational and acting before thinking. Always think before you act," Google explains to me.
"Now close your eyes and imagine a pool on a calm summer night." I close my eyes and imagine the pool that I used to swim in all the time," here the water is calm and collective. There's nothing in its way. Someone could easily cut it open and disturb the peace within the pool. Now you are the peacekeeper. You decide where the peace is more important. Here it's in the water. Calm equals peace." I nod along with his words.
"Now for each side of peace, there is one of the possible leaders of our world. Do you want to be like Anti? He disturbs the peace in any way possible. Or would you rather be like Dark? He tries to keep peace while getting his way. Choose and become one with them." I squint my closed eyes and form myself in my mind.
In my mind forms the two leader figures. Dark to my left, Anti to my right. They both beg for me to follow in their footsteps. I try to reason with both of them but they don't want to.
I force them away and sit away in my corner. I look up and see both of them standing there waiting for my choice. I know which one they want me to choose.
I reach up for Dark and grasp his hands with mine. He pulls me up to my feet and hugs me. I hug him back and rest my head on his chest.
"Zora, are you okay?" Google asks me. I open my eyes and see the concern on his face," you're crying."
I take my hand to my face and rub my finger along my skin. I take it off and I look to see that I am indeed crying. I rub my eyes to remove as much liquid as possible. Google holds his arms out to me and I instantly grab him for a hug. I rest my head on his and start sobbing.
"I miss him so much," I say between sobs. Google nods and puts his head against mine.
"He will be back with time. Did you find what you were looking for?" He asks me. I lightly nod against his body. We stay like that for a few minutes.
Google let's go of me and walks over to the door. I stand there in confusion and watch him. He opens the door and on the other side is Dr. Iplier with Celine behind him.
"What's going on?" Mark questions Google.
"I am helping Zora learn how to control her powers," Google states. I nod in agreement, not like they care about my input.
"No one can help her but Darkiplier with that. We need to lock her away before her true powers come back," Mark explains. My face is filled with fright and pure confusion. Why?
"That is not happening Doctor. We cannot lock her up. She is the next ruler and I expect her to not be treated like how Die was," Google yells at him.
"Come on Google, she is a threat to all of us. Can't you see it? She made you go insane over a power she can't control. If we lock her away, she can't cause any more harm and we'll have a better chance of helping Dark," Mark says. Google is motionless and at a loss of words.
I see Mark smirk and pull out some cuffs from his coat pocket. I turn around and run over to the window. I rip it open and look back at them. Celine looks at me shocked, but Google is expressionless and Dr. Iplier with smiling.
"You can run but you can't hide forever," Mark says with a demonic grin. Fright fills my face again as I jump out the window and land on the grass. I turn left towards the city and run away. Away from the only place I learned to live freely.
What do I do now?
