Andy was awoken by the metal door being pulled open, he sat up and rubbed his eyes. The handcuffs had cut into his wrists leaving them bloody and sore, Andy watched the door open slowly and saw the officer standing there with a scowl. "C'mon punk. Someone came to pick you up." Andy stood up and stretched, his back cracked in multiple places and he felt his shoulder pop back into its socket. Sleeping in that cold cell was not ideal, he wondered who had come to pick him up. Celina hadn't come in any sort of touch with him nor Klare since the night before. She hadn't come home and none of her coworkers know where she disappeared off to. Andy rounded the corner and saw Kinney standing there with the man from the S.N.Y.P.A. Andy narrowed his eyes and glared at the man, "Who are you and why do you keep invading in our lives?" Andy growled, the man simply smirked and beckoned him, "Come with me Andy, I have something to show you." He said, his deep voice making the hairs on the back of Andy's neck stand up. "Kinney." Andy whispered as they trailed the towering man, "What is going on?" Kinney turned to Andy, her skin pale and her eyes completely bloodshot. "He's taking us to the Academy." She said emotionlessly. "What does that mean?" Andy questioned, Kinney simply shrugged and turned to look straight ahead again.
Andy sat beside Kinney in the dark car, the man driving was as still as stone as he drove along a deserted road. There was only two lanes, and they were—so far—the only car on the road. "Where are we going?" Andy demanded finally, not able to take the silence any longer. "We are taking you home." The man responded, vaguely. Andy shook his head in disbelief and went back to staring out of his window. They were truly in the middle of nowhere, forest on either side of the road and nothing to be seen in the distance, just miles and miles of road. Andy crossed his arms and looked over to Kinney, she was dozing peacefully in her seat, her head rested up against the window. Andy couldn't help but smile.
The man finally looked in the rear view mirror and all around him, as if he was making sure no one could see them or follow them. He pressed a button on the dash board and spoke into it, "Merida we are here." A little girl's voice responded back, "Ok boss, can do!" She chirped happily. Suddenly the man swerved off the road and onto a narrow dirt path, dust was sprinkled everywhere and covered the windows in a matter of seconds. But the man kept driving, Andy could hear the mixture of dirt and rocks underneath the car wheels and he looked over to Kinney. She was still asleep soundly, Andy sighed and looked forward, the windshield was coated in dust and dirt as the windshield wipers tried to clear a space enough to see where they were going.
Eventually Andy could see something out of the small clearer space on the windshield, a tall building. Many windows and a giant outdoor space, the man pulled up out front and looked back at Andy and Kinney. "We're here." Andy shook Kinney awake and slid out of the car and onto the stone of the front plaza, Andy had to admit it was really nice. They followed the man into the giant house and Kinney gasped at the interior. A grand ebony staircase ran up the middle of the foyer, on one side on the foyer sat a doorway into what seemed a formal dining room and the other was a living room. In the room sat two younger children, both sat on the carpet talking with each other. "Merida, Cassian, these are our two newest recruits, Andy and Kinney."
