Marian found Kinney in the infirmary, Cassian was hovering above her with a frown on his face. "Kinney seriously?" he asked, Kinney laughed. Marian walked in and planted a soft kiss on Kinney's forehead and smiled, "Why are you here you trouble maker?" Marian giggled, Kinney smiled at her, "So there is this thing called eating to much icing." Kinney smiled sheepishly, Marian rolled her eyes, "Did you eat Farah's whole supply of icing?" Marian asked, Kinney shrugged. Cassian smiled, "Hey Mar, how are you?" He asked, shooting her a smile, Marian smiled back. "Feeling a lot better Cass, still sore but I'm getting used to it all." She smiled, Cassian nodded. "You know I haven't cleared you for walking without your cane." Cassian said, matter-of-factly, Marian rolled her eyes. "Oh shut it pretty boy, no one clears me, I clear myself." She said, Cassian gave her a look, "Marian are you fucking kidding me?" Cassian said, letting himself chuckle slightly.
Kinney tried to stifle a yawn in her arm, Marian smiled. "Tired babe?" Marian said casually, Kinney went wide eyed and blushed, "Um-uh kinda" she stuttered, Cassian rolled his eyes. "Go to bed Kinney, more medications tomorrow, I need to talk to Marian anyways." Cassian said, he pulled the covers up to her chest and smiled, "Sleep tight." He said before walking away, taking Marian into the doctor's lounge with him.
"Arms..." He demanded, holding his hands out, she rested her forearms in his soft hands and sighed as he lifted her sleeves, nothing new, he sighed with relief. "No where else?" he asked, she shook her head, she had gotten into that habit about 40 years ago and had tried her best to break it, it was HARD. Cassian smiled, "You'll get through this, you have me and Kinney and Andy. You have everyone Marian, we are here for you." He said, giving her a loving hug, Marian hesitated before hugging her back.
Solice lay in the hospital bed, her young infant cradled in her arms, her bright purple eyes staring into her own, Solice slowly stroked her daughters hair and smiled. This was her baby, no one was going to take her, she loved her too much. The baby gurgled and smiled up at her mother, there was two boney lumps forming on her back, already. That had Damian almost squealing in excitement, she was growing her wings, early. He was so excited for the day she got her first wing tier. Damian lay passed out in the chair in the corner, he had been entertaining the baby all day while Solice slept, that 16 hours labour session was not ideal for Ciguapa energy levels. Other than the fatigue, she was healthy and her vitals were all steady. The baby showed traits from the both of them, the dazzling grin of Damian and the eyes, skin tone and straight up stubbornness from Solice.
Cassian pushed open his door and Erik looked up at him, "Babe?" He asked, Cassian walked over and collapsed onto the bed, "So I guess this means our plans-" Erik said pointing to the condom on the nightstand "are cancelled?" he asked with a chuckle. Cassian nodded, face first on the bed. Erik smiled and pulled his boyfriend up to lay next to him, "That's fine, you'll just have to make it up to me later." He smirked, Cassian buried his face in Erik's chest and gave him a lazy thumbs up before finally falling unconscious.
