Andy and Kinney were called down to breakfast, almost everyone was already seated around the table save for Cassian. Xander sat at the head of the table eating, talking happily with Merida and Marian. He looked up as Andy and Kinney walked in, "Ah, good morning Andy, Good morning Kinney." He smiled, Kinney said "good morning." Back but Andy just nodded in his direction. "Where is Cassian?" Kinney asked, Erik shot her a glare, which made her avert her gaze. "Ah, Cassian is still sleeping. He should be down soon." Xander replied. As if on cue, Cassian walked into the dining hall, messy hair and still in his pyjamas. Marian laughed at Cassian, "Gods you look like a monster." She joked, Erik pointed his fork at her and glared. Suddenly the fork went flying towards Marian, she extended her hand and the fork stopped in the middle of the air. She smirked at Erik who just rolled his eyes and went back to eating. The fork was then gently placed down on the table and everyone continued eating as if nothing had happened. Andy and Kinney exchanged glances and then went back to quietly eating.

After breakfast everyone went to the training hall, Andy and Marian went and trained together again. They were working on a signature attack where Andy lights Marian's wind magic on fire. It took a lot of skill and trust with each other, Kinney glared over at them in jealousy.

Erik was in the corner with Merida, he would occasionally look over to Cassian and then take time to glare at Kinney before continuing to fight with Merida. Today Erik wore a mask over the entire lower half of his face, the mask had a eye drawn on the black cloth. Kinney looked around to notice the others also had that symbol somewhere on them. Marian had a leather black eyepatch across her left eye with that symbol imprinted on it, Cassian had it on the black, fingerless gloves he wore. Merida wore the symbol on the thick black belt she had wrapped around her waist, "Hey Cassian?" She asked, Cassian stopped stretching and turned to her, "Yes Kinney?" He asked, a bright smile on his face, "What does that eye on your glove mean?" Cassian looked down to his glove as if he needed to see it too, "Oh, that." He took a moment to think, "That's the eye of Elaine, they say that's what protects us in battle. The eye of Elaine is supposedly the source of our immortality." He smiled, Kinney went wide eyed "I-Immortality?" Cassian grinned, "Yeah! We are..." he trailed off seeing Kinney's expression "...immortal." He finished. Kinney's eyes were wide as she stared at Cassian. "So, we can't die." Cassian shook his head, "Well not of old age, as soon as you access your magic you stop aging, some of us accessed our magic at a young age, like Merida, so she appears so much younger than she actually is." He said, glancing over to Merida, "How old is she?" Kinney asked, also glancing over to her, "Um, last time I asked, 47." Kinney went wide eyed, "Holy shit." She exclaimed, Cassian smirked "Oh that's nothing, Marian is 267." Cassian remarked, Kinney looked over to the tall woman, looking not a day over nineteen. "H-How old are you?" She stuttered, Cassian smiled, "I'm 36, not that old." He grinned. "But we don't keep track of age really, Marian is just always 19. Especially when we get mortals in here, we have to say our visible age. So we just stick with that." He smiled. Kinney smiled back.

"Oh gods." She sighed.
