The wind blew viciously in Krystal's face, sending her untamed hair everywhere. Krystal tightened her grip on in the dragons scales, feeling herself slide down the dragon's long neck. The dragon slowed when she reached a specific height, easing into a glide, black wings no longer beating aggressively. The beast's giant purple eyes glanced back, noticing Krystal had slipped.

"Are you alright back there?" The chest vibrating voice asked. Krystal felt herself slide farther down the dragon's neck, fingers scraping against iron-like scales. The dragon stopped immediately, hovering in a single place, making miniature whirlwinds with ever wing beat. "Hey, hey, rest on my back, stop hurting yourself." The dragon ordered, turning her head, watching Krystal closely. Krystal allowed herself to slowly slide down, relaxing when she reached the dragon's solid shoulders. "Better?" Krystal gave a small nod, listening to wind that surrounded her. The dragon begun her advancement to the castle, her wings popping at the joints, heart beating at a steady pace. Krystal feel into a light sleep, listening to the lull of the dragon's movement. The dragon smiled faintly, watching the Princess sleep, paying close attention to how she was seated, making sure that Krystal would not be disturbed.

Why her? Why, out of every human, did it have to be her? I would of saved anyone else, would of saved anything else, but it just had to be her. The dragon shook her head, feeling the wind blast against her face with every turn.

The ride was pleasant, peaceful, and nearly completed when the dragon landed, waking Krystal from her slumber. The Princess looked around, slowly taking in her surroundings, watching the starry night sky disappear into the rising sun. The dragon landed with a loud slam, making her presence know to all those in the surrounding woods. The landing jolted Krystal around, making her nearly fall off of her dragon.

"Sorry," The dragon muttered, laying down to allow Krystal an easy slide down to the ground. Krystal slowly lowered herself to the ground, a pair of purple eyes watching her closely, tail flicking in the behavior of a cat's. Once Krystal was on the ground, the dragon stood up and shook herself off, stomping around, making noise. Krystal hurried away from the large lizard, watching it's awkward movements in the cramped trees. She stumbled sideways, knocking over a few trees, giving herself space. "Shit, shouldn't of done that."

Krystal watched the dragon sit on it's haunches like a hound before letting out a yawn, her sharp, jagged teeth shining, forked tongue curling up. "Are you alright?" Krystal asked, exiting the trees that she was hiding besides.

The dragon tilted her head like a dog, before leaning over and falling to the ground, letting out a sigh. "Yes, just ready to...." The dragon was cut off by another yawn. Krystal walked over to the dragon, lightly touching her nose. The dragon watched Krystal with half closed eyes, allowing her to pet her scales. Krystal followed the dragon's nose up to the point between her eyes, watching the dragon relax, her eyes closing.

"I don't think your ready to go anywhere." Krystal stated, removing her hand from the dragon's head. The dragon let out a growl, curling herself around Krystal. "Hey, what are you doing?"

"Let me sleep."

"Please Knight, we have to go. Someone must of noticed you." Krystal nudged the dragon's head, only making the dragon drop dead weight, making it difficult for Krystal to move her. "Stop being impossible."

"Her name is Tama, not 'Knight'." The dragon growled, quickly standing up and withdrawing herself from Krystal. With a loud crack, the dragon immediately returned to human form, armor and all. Tama lifted her helmet slightly, letting out a loud, clear whistle before dropping it back down, her purple eyes flaming. Krystal gave a confused look, watching Tama glare off into the distance. The faint sound of thundering hooves could be heard not far from the two. The jet black horse came into view, making his name worthy for him. "Down Thunder." Tama commanded, grabbing onto her noisy horse's reins. She untied Carmella, throwing the reins in Krystal's direction. "Mount." Tama was on her horse immediately, her calm demeanor completely lost due to her temper.
