The Library (Pernico)

Chapter 4

Percy's POV

Jason drags me out of the bathroom by my wrist. I wince as he forces me to walk with him.

"I am serious. Don't say a word." I growl, and we walk back to the table. Jason is grinning, looking over at Piper.

How could you let Leo get to you like that. Idiot!

I sit next to Nico again, biting my cheek. He looks nervous again.

"Sorry guys. Percy doesn't like being accused that he's gay." Jason grins. I shoot him my most dangerous glare. Annabeth raises an eyebrow. She knows me, better than most people think. She sort of.......ah.....knows I'm gay. However, she wants to keep up appearances, so we act like a couple. She doesn't care about me and my..... Situation. Just as long as I fake break up with her before I start dating someone again.

"Who said it was an accusation? Maybe Percy is gay and just doesn't like the thought of coming out." Annabeth says. I give her my 'what the hell are you doing' face. Gods she really annoys me sometimes.

More than sometimes.

"You aren't helping." I say. She grins. Her eyes shout 'I know!', without actually saying anything out loud, and it makes me annoyed. I continue staring until Jason speaks again.

"Nico? What do you think? Do you think he's gay?" Jason asks. We all stare at him. Then at Nico. I feel my face heat up again. It feels like fire.

I wonder if Leo is doing that.

"If you think I'm gonna answer that, you are wrong. I only met him like, 20 minutes ago." Nico says, eyes looking at Jason. He sounds unsure. And I'm a bit surprised. Did he really forget our swordfight? Im a little hurt by the thought that he did indeed forget it. I was actually having fun when we clashed sticks. It was really enjoyable.

You were having a lot more than fun.

Shut up me.

"Nico seems to be having some weird riveting realisation that Percy is gay." Leo says, and Nico zones back in. I laugh, then realize he accused me of being gay and my smile drops a little. He is almost as annoying as Annabeth.

"Well, if I was gay, and I did in fact, Like Nico, I wouldn't blame myself. The kid is damn good with a sword." I say. His eyes flicker to a look of surprise, then embarrassment. He blushes. Aha! He does remember! I PREVAIL!

"Wait, you've known him enough to sword fight him! Perce! Why didn't you tell us! Dude! That like, makes it so much more likely he's a-"

"JASON! SHUT UP!" Piper claps a hand over his mouth. He Looks surprised. I gulp. Oh, great, here we go.

Way to be smart, Grace.

"I am a what." Nico looks pissed.

"A.....A camper. From......Okay. Nico, you have to promise us you will come to the library after school. We have something we want to tell you." I say. He looks over at me, surprise evident in his features. Eyes widened slightly. Eyebrows raised. His mouth pulled into a slight frown.  I gulp. Then his face softens a little.

"I'd have to ask Bi, or my  mom. Bi will actually make me ask mom...." He says. I grin. Bianca is a very persistent person. I know, because she happens to have a case of the fangirl blues. Meaning she head over heels in love with Jason.

"We could all come with you so you don't run off. Like this morning!" Leo smiles. Nico looks worried.

"That was you guys? Oh. I thought it was like, Drew and Octavian." He mumbles. We look at him, then away.
