Kyra held a mug of tea in her hands, while looking out of the window. She hated this day, to much memories coming back to her. She took a sip from her tea only to burn her tongue and she placed her mug back on the kitchen counter.
A sigh escaped her lips as she looked at the paper dump on her dining table, she shouldn't have stayed up that late. And she didn't even find what she was looking for. With one swipe of her arm all papers had fallen on the ground and Kyra grabbed the next box. She hated these kind of cases, when other lawyers tried to bury her in paper work.
She wasn't with a firm, so she did it all on her own. Sometimes her friend came over to help, but it was still a lot. She sat down and opened the box, placing all the new paper work on her table. Making herself ready to go through it all. And then her phone rang, a groan escaped her lips as she looked at the number. She didn't recognize it. So she let it ring, thinking it was someone trying to convince her to switch to a new bank.
She started reading again, but noticed that her phone started ringing again. Normally advertisers only called once, right? She sighed, preparing herself for a nice and short reply and grabbed her phone.
'Hello? With Kyra Anderson,' she replied politely.
'With Pearson Specter Litt.'
Kyra froze dropping her papers, Harvey got his name on the wall. 'Yes?'
'It's Donna, Harvey Specters secretary. I booked you a flight to New York, be at the airport at ten past five, tomorrow.'
Kyra frowned, 'I'm sorry, I don't... I don't get what is going on.'
'I'm Donna and I know everything. I know about you and Harvey's history, I know you're lawyer who only takes pro-bono cases and we need you. Our firm is crumbling down, falling apart. No one wants to work for us anymore, because of their image. You however don't care for image, I've heard.'
'No, I don't. Excuse me, but what makes you think I'll help you?' Kyra asked, tears brimming in her eyes while her voice became hoarse.
'Because, you still care for him. And he's not in a good state, his best friend is in jail. His firm is falling apart. He needs you. And the firm could use another lawyer.'
Kyra's voice cracked, 'How. Dare. You. It's been fifteen years.'
'He's never been good at love, Kyra. But he's been to someone, he's improving. I know him better than he knows himself and he needs you.'
An empty laugh escaped Kyra's mouth, 'He's never needed me Donna. I doubt he even remembers me, we were two teenagers with big dreams. Nothing more.'
'Kyra. The bumblebee is still on his keychain.'
Waterfalls started running down her face, 'Go. To. Hell.'

Donna sighed in despair as she thought the girl had hung up on her. But from the other side of the line she heard tortured sobs. A glass being thrown against the wall followed by more sobbing. Donna bit her lip, knowing Kyra was clearly not aware of the fact that their call was still on going.
After a few seconds she put the phone down on its standard, her hands going through her hair. She was sure she'd fix this, but the pain the girl had been in was even to strong for Donna to handle.
