Leonard Bailey walked into the room, 'Let's get to it. What happened?'

'Good news. The court granted our motion. They pushed your execution back a month,' Kyra told him.

'I don't believe it. You convinced my aunt I didn't kill those people?' he asked in disbelief, when Rachel and Kyra had presented him with the idea of pushing his execution back by saying his aunt wasn't healthy enough to travel this month, he hadn't believed it would work.

'No, Leonard, I didn't.' Rachel quickly intercepted, trying not to soften the hurt that would follow.

'I don't understand. You said that she had to agree to be there for me,' Leonard uttered.

'She agreed to sign the papers,' Rachel explained, 'But she's not gonna come.'

'Goddamn it,' Leonard cursed under his breath, tears almost welling up in his eyes.

'Leonard, let's focus on the good thing. We pushed it back a month, everything was about buying as time,' Kyra tried to lift the mood.

'Focus on the good thing?' Leonard exclaimed, 'Do you even give a shit about me?'

'Of course we do,' Rachel stated.

'Yeah, I know you do,' he said facing Rachel, but then he turned himself towards Kyra, 'But I want to know if she cares whether I live or die.'

Kyra flinched, 'I just got your execution pushed back.'

'That's not what I asked you. You didn't even go see her did you?' Leonard asked her sternly.

Kyra shook her head, 'No, I didn't. Only one of us needed to get her signature, I needed to deal with something else.'

'Yet two of you could've helped convince her that I'm innocent. Don't you get it? The woman who raised me wants nothing to do with me,' Leonard stated as anger started filling his eyes.

'Leonard, I'm a lawyer,' Kyra started as she sat straighter, 'I'm here to get you out of jail, not to repair your relationship with your aunt.'

'I ain't never getting out of here! Don't you understand that? So you go play your game with the courts. But whether it's 30 days or 60 days, it doesn't matter, 'cause I'm gonna die in here, lady. The one thing I asked you to do, you didn't. You didn't even care enough to try.'

Kyra pushed back her chair and walked out of the room, Rachel hastily followed her, 'Hey, are you okay?'

Kyra turned around and smiled at her, even though her eyes burned with tears, 'You just focus on getting Leonard Bailey out of jail. I'm used to dealing with these clients.'

But when she arrived at Pearson Specter, Leonard's words kept running through her head. Her vision became blurry when tears started rolling down and she ran to the bathroom, looking in the mirror she barely recognised her own reflection. How could she be so broken by words she'd been hearing her entire career?

'Excuse me, but this is the male-' Harvey said as he walked in, but he silenced abruptly when he saw Kyra. Her mascara had run down her face and sobs left her lips.

'Harvey, I'm sorry,' she said as she wiped her tears away, 'I was just leaving. Wrong bathroom, apparently.'

She hastily walked away, but Harvey grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, her head against his chest. And even though she knew she shouldn't, though she knew she'd loose herself in it, she didn't move. Her head just rested against his chest, his arms around her and she felt safe, she felt calm.

Louis walked inside and frowned, 'Nice to see you're enjoying yourself Harvey, but this is the males bathroom.'

Kyra pushed herself away from Harvey and left the room as soon as she could, Harvey glared at Louis. 'She was crying, you moron!'

Louis just stared at Harvey and looked at the door where Kyra had just disappeared, 'Wait. Harvey Specter hugged a woman because she cried? When did you get a heart?'

Harvey smiled as Kyra sat next to him, 'Wait, I don't get it.'

Kyra rolled her eyes, 'Harvey, you're selfish, but you do have a heart. You care about people more than you want to admit, but you will always act before thinking. You do what you think is the best for you, or those you love, but anyone outside that circle is just... irrelevant.'

Harvey frowned and looked her in the eyes, 'You're my number one, of course everyone else is irrelevant.'

Kyra flushed, 'You're unbearable, we started out trying to study for ethics, remember?'

Harvey smirked and sighed once he glanced at the books in front of him, 'Yeah, but studying just makes me feel numb.'

Kyra closed the books and smiled, 'Let's do something else then, how about you get me an ice cream?'

Harvey picked her up bridal style and Kyra yelled out in surprise, making everyone in the park glance at them. 'See, the ice cream man had already seen you. And now, we're walking towards him and he knows to get the chocolate ice cream ready.'

Kyra glared at him before giggling and hitting Harvey's chest, 'Come on! Put me down, I can walk.'

'Why walk when this is so much more fun?'
