What I saw last night was unforgivable, worst than that I wanted to kill Pablo that moment. Her eyes told me "Please help me" but I wasn't fooled, she did that to herseld. You can't fuck with the mafia, period.
It was 3am and I still couldn't sleep, something was at the back od my mind that didn't let me close my eyes. When the gates bell rang. "Who is this?" I asked.
"Me" Lisa?
"What do you want?"
"Talk"
"Okay" I opened the gates and let her in. "Gio, drug Lisa and take her to the cell"
I wasn't going to talk to her and listen to her lies. I finally fell asleep.
The next day, I went to see her, and what I found was a very mad Lisa "What the hell's your problem? Why did you locked me up?"
"Because you betrayed me, and because I feel like it. So, tell me, why did you betrayed me?"
"You're crazy, if I betrayed you, I would've been happy to see my brother, I would've been sleeping not being ra..." she stopped mid sentence.
"Being what?"
"Nothing, if you think I betrayed you why don't you start asking Mateo why has he been telling Pablo about you, us" that made me mad, so I grabbed her by the neck and she showed me something she never had showed me, real fear, and a tear scaped her eye.
"Why are you crying?"
"Please don't touch me" she sniffed and I asked her "What does Mateo have to do with this?"
"He told Pablo that you gave me permission to have a private bedroom, to go to the pool and have a tan, to eat diner with you at the dinning room and that we were lovers" I slapped her.
"Don't you ever say that again, I've known him since I was sixteen, he wouldn't do that"
"Well, let me tell you this so you believe me if you want, we never made it to the airport, in fact he drugged me himself" now I punched her and knocked her up, I've punched a woman like if she's a man for the second time, not any woman but Lisa Rickard, the one that has the power to see my weakness, the one I've loved my entire live, the one that even if I hate, still loved.
I left the basement and called Gio "Come to my office, now!"
"Lord?"
"Come in" Gio entered, bowed and stood there. "Have you seen Mateo?"
"Not since yesterday, why?"
"Don't question me Gio. But it's just that Lis said something about him that made me so mad I punched her, again. If I keep this up, I'm gonna kill her, and I'm desperate. How many times Mateo leaves a day or a week?"
"A day he leaves three to four times, and a week like twenty-five my Lord"
"Interesting, call Bruno and tell him to plant a camera at one of the tree's that are at the gates of Pablo's house. I want to see something"
"Yes my Lord" with that he bowed again, and leave. Tonight I'll discover who lied and betrayed me.
