Chapter 1 - Reunion

BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ

You stretched your arms as you yawned and tiredly rubbed your groggy eyes. You grabbed the irritating alarm clock from your bed stand, hit the Snooze button and checked the time. It took a while for your eyes to adjust from waking up and then you made out the time..

"CRAP!!! I'M LATE!!!" You jumped right out of bed rather ungracefully and headed for your closet to grab your school uniform. It was your first day as a third year at Iwatobi High School and once again, you were going to be late.

"Damn this freaking alarm clock never waking me up at the right time..." You growled as you took off your pajama pants. You quickly changed into your uniform and grabbed your bag and phone and dashed out the door. You only had a few minutes until the first bell rang and you needed to get there as fast as you could or else you would leave bad impressions on your new teachers and the cold breeze running past you didn't help you go any faster. 

You made sure to get out of the people's way on the sidewalk as iyou ran to the school. You knew you were only a couple of blocks away from the school so you picked your phone out your bag to check the time until you slammed into a large, rather hard, figure and landed on your butt.

"Ow...." You groaned. You rubbed your behind. There definitely was going to be a bruise there tomorrow.

"I'm very sorry," A deep voice in front of you said.

"I-It's okay," You began to stand up all out of breath. "I wasn't looking where I was go-" You paused. This person looked extremely familiar. Like someone you knew from middle school but a lot more mature and handsomer. "S-Sousuke-kun?"

He looked up at you and his teal eyes made eye contact with yours. His face lightened up as he recognized you.

"(F/N)?"

You squealed and hugged the old friend as he hugged you back. You released him from your grasp. You looked up in awe of how much he grew and extremely well-built he became since the last time you saw him.

"What in the world are you doing here, Sousuke-kun? I thought you were in Tokyo for high school!"

"I transferred to Samezuka." He said. You noticed him wearing the Samezuka uniform you've seen Rin wear. 

"Samezuka? What happened to Tokitsu? Weren't you there for swimming?" Then it hit you. "Y-You didn't get kicked out or something, r-right?" You stammered.

"Haha. no (F/N)," he laughed. "I just wanted to spend my last year close to you guys again." (meaning you, Rin, and Gou) "Besides, I already got scouted." He grinned.

Your eyes glittered in awe. "Waaaahhhh~ Sousuke-kun already got scouted!" You heard the faint bell from Iwatobi High School go off nearby. "Crap! I'm late! So sorry Sousuke-kun, I'm in a rush! Hopefully I'll see you again later."

He nodded his head. "Of course. I'll see you around, (F/N)." You turned around as you were about to head off into total sprint mode once more but then you remembered.

"Wait a second Sousuke-kun!"

"Hm?"

"If you're going to Samezuka Academy now, you'll see Rin there, right?"

"That's the plan." He grinned.

You smiled. "Say hi to Rin for me!" You waved as you said your final farewell. He waved back and you were off running to school.

First Rin comes back, now Sousuke. This is going to be such a great year!
