Deku are you okay? You look exhausted.

You shouldn't push yourself.

Deku's been acting strange lately don't you think Tenya?

Let's eat over there. I think Deku wants to be alone. He's been avoiding us after all.

I opened my eyes to see I was back in Dabi's bedroom.

Why do I always wake up here? I snorted at the feeling of comfort that warmed me whenever I would think about him.

I moved to get up when a clinking sound rang in my ears. I couldn't move my arms or legs.

What the hell?

I wiggled my wrists frowning at the irons cuffing me to the bedposts.

Why would Dabi cuff me to the bed? A blush formed on my cheeks as I thought up different reasons.

Th-that's not why he did it, right?

As if on cue Dabi stepped through the door holding a tray with a damp cloth and a bowl of water.

"Ah the dead has arisen. You're making a bad habit of passing out and waking up in my bed you know." Dabi placed the tray down and sat at the edge of the bed.

By his tone and the teasing twinkle in his eye I felt reassured that I wasn't a burden and Dabi seemed to almost enjoy it.

"Why am I handcuffed?" I asked as heat crept into my cheeks.

Dabi pursed his lips a moment before sighing. He ran his fingers through his dark spiky hair.

For a moment I longed to run my fingers through the ebony strands. Curious to know how soft it was to the touch.

"Well you seem to be losing control of your quirk especially when you black out. Whatever that poison was that Almighty gave you, you need more of it to sustain yourself. Otherwise-" Dabi's voice trailed off.
