Bonus: Chapter 18*

DABI

"Heyyy Dabi wana go throw junk at people from the roof?" Toga giggled maniacally.

"Pass." I muttered without breaking stride or even glancing in her direction.

"You're sooo boring now. " She whined.

"Because I was a ball of fun before?" I raised a brow finally glancing over my shoulder. Before she could answer I opened and closed the door to the cellar where Shouto's new lab had been set up.

He was busy at work scribbling down notes while swirling a vile of green fluid and adding a crimson plasma from a vial.

I assumed it was Deku's blood.

I flinched knowing he had to be in pain in order for this to work.

He could never catch a break.

"Hey, got a sec?" I asked. Shouto glanced up from his work. He seemed surprised by my presence, but removed his safety goggles and rubber gloves anyway.

"Sure." He put down his tools and gestured to a seat across from a metal desk.

"I'm taking this is about Deku and our recent discussion?" He spoke nonchalant.

Perceptive.

"Yes, explain to me how this DNA thing would work." I leaned forward.

Shouto then explained to me how this would happen. We would need to get a donated egg first. Second he would use my sperm and Deku's and splice them with the egg.

He would go into the DNA strand and remove any unwanted DNA ,I.E any DNA from the original egg. That way the baby would be strictly Deku's and mine.
(I tried to sound scientifical. I'm sorry! 😖)

"You think that would work?" I asked sounding a little doubtful.

"Without a doubt." Shouto nodded confidently.

"Who would carry the baby?" I asked.

"Deku wanted to, but I told him it was too risky with all of the poison and experiments running in his system.

So I have been designing an incubator that acts like a womans womb. Bakugou is out right now getting me more supplies." Shouto held up a schematic.

I raised my brows surprised as I studied the blue prints.

He went to work fast.

"Why are you going through all of this trouble?" I asked suspiciously.

A dark looked crossed Shouto's features.

"Before. Before everything, I-I was like you. I fell for Deku. Bakugou was in love with him too which is why he hated him so much. How could you not fall for him? He's amazing."

I felt a jab of jealousy pierce through me at the thought of Shouto, or Bakugou even touching Deku.

He's mine. He belongs to me. I could feel my possessiveness surface.

"Anyway, he taught me that my power was my own and no one elses. I owe it to him. For everything he went through alone. For everything he sacrificed and lost. It brought Bakugou and I together. Also Deku gave you a reason to be. I can see it when you look at him.

If this is the one thing I can do for him and will make up for all of the pain he suffered through, then it will be worth it." I stared at Shouto's bi-colored eyes.

He meant every word.

"Thank you." I rubbed the back of my neck feeling the foreign word on my tongue. It felt strange to say it and genuinely mean it, but I did.
