Taehyung picked us up and told us he was bringing us to a fairly popular restaurant

In the passenger seat of his car was a younger boy who he told me was Jungkook. He was bubbly and friendly. He and Vonny got along really well.

I couldnt talk to Tae since he was driving so I was in the back next to Vonny just chillin'.

When we got to the restaurant and seated, all four of us were kinda nervous. Jungkook was more shy than he was in the car.

We sat and waited for someone to take our orders. There wasnt awkward silence but it was weird that Vonny and Jungkook were staring dreamily into each others eyes.

Taehyung and I were just waiting patiently. I looked up at him and he had that look in his eyes again as he stared out the window. The look of wonder.

It's so cute.

"Hello. I apologise for the wait. May I take your orders?" Asked a woman in a short skirt with a pretty smile.

"Yes. I would like a nacho platter please. Just something for the four of us to share." Tae spoke with a smile.

"Yes sir. And what would you like to drink?"

"What do you recommend?" He asked.

"We have a wonderful new Martini. By one, get a second half off for your lady friend." She winked.

"No thank you. I don't do alcohol. I'll just have a lemonade. What about you?" Tae looked at me with a small smile.

"Uh...strawberry lemonade?" I said as more of a question.

"Yes ma'am. I'll be right back with your drinks."

We didnt even notice that she skipped over Vonny and Jungkook. They didnt seem to mind though.

I swear I saw heards floating above their heads like bubbles.

"So, what did you do over the summer?" Tae suddenly asked me. I was caught off guard and I took a second to answer."Uh...well, not much. My mom was still healing from her injury, as well as searching for a job. I hung out with my friends all summer basically." I shrugged.

"Has she found a job yet?"

"She found something shes into. I dont know much about the hiring process but she said its moving really slow..."

He nodded.

"So...what'd you do?" I returned the question.

"I went to the BBMAs. I saw a lot of my favorite bands. It was like a dream come true. It was really special and really fun!" He looked so enthusiastic about it and it made me happy.

"That sounds awesome. I'm glad you had fun."

I honestly didn't know what else to say. He's just so cute!!!

"What kind of music do you like?" He asked.

The more questions I answered, the bigger his smile got. I felt closer to him through talking and waiting for our food.

The four of us had a great time. I didnt feel nervous anymore. I didnt want this to end. After we ate, the four of us left the restaurant and just strolled.

Jungkook and Vonny were already holding hands and calling each other cute names.

I felt a bit left out. She hit a homerun before I even got to first base.

"I had fun." Tae said with a sweet smile and his adorably deep voice.

"I did too."

The four of us went back to his car. I sat in the passenger seat beside him while the lovely couple chatted in the back.

He dropped us off back at my house and even walked me to the door."This was really fun. You wanna do it again sometime?" He offered.

I nodded and was about to say something but he leaned closer to me, putting his hand on the door behind my head and pressing his lips to mine.

It was sweet and tender, like cake. A really adorable cake.

"I'll text you later." He winked at me before driving off with Jungkook waving goodbye to Vonny.

"We're home already? Time really flies when youre in love, huh?" She laughed.

"Yup. It sure does."
