Chapter 14: Senior Prom

*Blaire’s POV*

It was now Saturday. Yup, our prom is today. Yesterday, Jio, Eleanor, Lucy and I went shopping after school. Today, we did each other’s hair and make-up. The boys will pick us up at 5pm and we were just waiting for them to arrive. We were so excited that we were prepared 30 minutes earlier.

We were just hanging in my room with our hair and make-up done and we were in our bath robes. I did Lucy’s hair and make-up and she did mine too while Jio made Eleanor’s hair and make-up and vice-versa.

“Are they on their way already?” asked by an impatient Eleanor.

“Hold on, let me text Zayn.” I searched for my phone on my bed and I found it, I had 3 texts. I did not feel my phone vibrate because I was doing Lucy’s hair and make-up and my phone was not with me. Two texts were from Zayn and one from Niall. I read Zayn’s first, of course. 

                Hey, Babe! Are you excited for tonight? Xx. (sent 3pm)

                We’re on our way their already. We’re just gonna pick up Niall, which is beside your house. See you in 10 minutes! (sent 5 minutes ago)

 Then I read Niall’s text.

                Hey, Blaire! I miss you, I miss my best friend. :( Ever since Kate stopped me from seeing you, we became apart. Can we catch up anytime soon?

I replied to him saying: Sure, after prom! Go here to my house ;) we can have our usual sleepover... just like before. xx

“Uhm, girls, I think we should dress up now. They’re halfway here already.” I said in a nervous tone.

“Why are you nervous, Blaire? You look gorgeous!” Lucy said.

“Thanks. So shall we wear our dresses already?” Jio asked.

“Yeahp.” Eleanor said and then we all grabbed our gowns and we helped each other zip up the zippers.

I was wearing a light blue cocktail dress with a one-shoulder strap, then my shoes, earrings and bangles are silver. My hair was in a messy side updo and my make up was just a neutral make-up because Zayn told me that he would like to see my natural beauty and told me to not wear much make-up.

Lucy was wearing a purple tube cocktail dress with a ribbon around the waist. Her shoes and accessories were beige and her blonde hair was straightened and she had a light pink make-up. She’s like a living Barbie doll. She’s so gorgeous!

Eleanor was wearing a black shiny dress with ruffles and she had pearl accessories, a black knuckle-box clutch and white platform heels. Her hair was on one side and her make-up was just neutral like mine. 

And finally, Jio was wearing a pink cocktail dress and her shoes and accessories are all black. Her hair was in a loose fishtail braid at this side and her make-up was neutral on the cheeks, smokey eyes and pink lipstick.

Just as we finished dressing up, we heard the doorbell ring.
