Chapter 32: Bonding Day

*Jio’s POV*

After the whole Zayn-drowning incident last night, we all went to sleep peacefully in Louis’ living room. We returned to our positions. Niall and Blaire on one couch, Liam and Lucy on the loveseat, then the rest of us sprawled in different places on the floor.

Today, I woke up to the smell of delicious food coming from the kitchen. It was a surprise that Niall was still sleeping heavily despite the aroma of cooking bacons, eggs, sausages and pancakes. I looked around the house and saw that Lucy was alone on the loveseat so I guess it was Liam who was cooking. I checked my phone to see the time and it was 7am. I shoved Louis’ legs off me and then I got up careful to not wake up Harry who was slightly snoring.

“Goodmorning, Lee-uhm!” I greeted as I walked inside the kitchen then to the fridge to get some orange juice.

“Goodmorning, Jio! Hey! Don’t drink juice yet! You don’t have anything in your stomach. You haven’t eaten anything!” He said looking at me after placing the food on the table. I grabbed a piece of bacon then popped it in my mouth.

“There! Now my stomach has bacon inside!” I teased Liam and then drank my orange juice. “Should we wake them up now?” I asked and he nodded. I ran to the kitchen and grabbed 2 pans and 2 wooden spoons. I passed one pan and one spoon to Liam then we made our way to the living room. We stood in the middle then we started banging our pans with the wooden spoon.

“GET UP LAZY BUTTS!!” I screamed. Eleanor, Meg and Blaire sat up out of surprise then groaned. Lucy just opened her eyes then smiled at us and greeted us a good morning; she seems to be used to it. The boys were still fast asleep although Harry and Louis shifted in their sleep. The girls were now lined up at the bathroom, taking turns to freshen up.

“BREAKFAST’S READY, BOYS! GET UP! GET UP!” Liam shouted and with that, Niall bolted up then ran to the dining area without even going to the bathroom and started digging in. We all laughed at him as Blaire shook her head. “Louis, Harry and Zayn, if I were you, I’d get up now before Niall finishes all the food.” Liam said as we stopped banging the pans since it doesn’t work on them.

Louis and Harry sat up sleepily then made their way to the bathroom. Zayn was the only one left sleeping on the floor. “Megan!” I shouted and she went to Zayn’s side then started tickling him. Zayn shot up and then kissed Megan for good morning and then they went to the dining area and we all ate.

After we ate, we all dressed up for our gimmick for today. The boys decided to go ice skating then Laser Quest after and the girls suggested having some karaoke party when we get back.

We all made our way to Louis’ van and then he sat in the driver seat and Eleanor was on the passenger seat and the rest of us made ourselves comfortable at the back seat. The boys were singing with the songs that were being played on the radio while the girls chatted about things. We pulled up in front a stadium looking building and then we all went inside. Surprisingly, even if it was a weekend, there were no people. We get the place to ourselves!

We all went to the skates counter and got our skates. After we wore them, we all raced inside the rink and started gliding. All of us were practically good with this kind of stuff because it’s usually our bonding dates. We normally go ice skating or roller skating. We were chasing each other around the rink.
