When we reached my room, things got awkward.
"So...this is it." I said.
"Yep..." Peter replied.
"Do you have a map of this place?" I asked.
"Actually, yes," Peter said. "Hold on, I'll be right back."
"How long will it take you?" I asked, but he was already gone.
Then a few seconds later, he came back. He ran so fast, he was gone for like 5 seconds. I was so tired, I didn't think much of it.
"Here you go!" Peter said, handing me a pamphlet-style map and my room key.
"Hey, I just noticed. Has your hair always been that shade of silver-blue?"
"Um, yeah, kinda," Peter fingered his hair self-consciously.
"Oh, its okay!" I said quickly. "I like it. It's....different."
We stood there in awkward silence for a bit, until Peter spoke up.
"Okay, well, I'm really tired, and we have class tomorrow, so I'd better go."
"Wait, we have to go to class tomorrow?!" I said, surprised.
"Don't worry, Logan or Professor will probably stop by and bring your schedule and school supplies."
"'Kay, bye," I said.
Then, in the blink of an eye, he was gone.
Okay....I thought. That was weird.
Whatever. I unlocked the door to my room. I was too tired to do anything but close and lock the door, change into some pj's, and go to sleep.
