~~Flashback-Peter-3rd person~~
"You called me, Father?" Pietro said as he walked into his dad's office. Whenever his dad called him in here, it was never good. Ever.
"Hello, Pietro. Please. Take a seat," Pietro's father, Eric, motioned to a tall leather chair seated directly in front of his. The only thing that separated them was a long oak desk and tension-filled air.
Pietro took a seat.
"So...why did you call me in?" Pietro asked hesitantly.
"You remember Bella, yes?" Eric slid a picture of a young girl around Pietro's age which is to say, about fifteen.
The girl had raven-black hair with an aqua shade of blue colored streaks. She had brown, simple eyes and light cheekbones. Her cheeks were a little flushed. She was smiling wide so that you could see her bright straight white teeth.
The last time Pietro had seen this girl, she had red streaks but he recognized her, anyway.
"Bella?" Pietro looked up at his father. Eric sometimes seemed to have steel gray eyes. Considering his power, it made sense.
"Yes," Eric nodded. "She ran off. We...had a fight. But, I have a plan to get her back."
Pietro fought off the urge to roll his eyes.
"Father?" Pietro asked. He was about to make what some parents might call 'a snotty remark'.
"Yes?" Eric was staring at something outside of the window.
"Is cryptic your only language?" Pietro couldn't resist a smile.
Eric turned his steely eyes at Pietro. Pietro thought that he was about to get in trouble. Which, when it was Eric punishing someone, it was more like going to a military camp and having to run laps. But Eric would never allow Pietro to run laps ever again. That was how they both had found out that Pietro was a mutant and that he had super speed.
"No, Pietro, it is not! Now, if you would let me finish, then maybe it will make more sense to you!" Eric turned his gaze back to whatever it was that he was looking at out the window. " Bella doesn't know where she's going but I do. It will be your job to follow her and bring her back."
"Where is she going?"
"She will be going to that wretched Xavier School I told you two about when you were kids."
"And how will I know where it is?"
"Why, because they will take you!"
"What do you mean?"'Pietro asked uncertainly.
"Well, they're on their way right now," Eric replied, a brief expression of worry crossing his face, only to be gone a second later causing Pietro to think that it was his imagination.
"What did you and Bella fight about this time, Father?" Pietro changed the subject purposely, trying to get his father off of the subject of Charles Xavier. Whenever anyone got Eric going on about him, there was no stopping him. That is...unless there's bloodshed, and when Eric was involved, that was never pretty. (Not that it is at all, really, but I think you get my point.)
"Well...that's a story for another time. Another day, perhaps. Yes, that's when I will tell you."
Present Day~~Peter's POV~~First person~~Two weeks later~~
The memory melted away as I brought myself back to the present conversation that I was having with Bobby, aka Iceman.
"...so that's what I think about Storm's assignment. Any thoughts?" Bobby was asking me.
"What?" I said smartly.
Bobby just rolled his eyes.
"Nothing," he muttered as we walked to our next class, which was history.
I laughed and stopped to get a drink at one of the built-in drinking fountains.
As I stood back up after my drink, I saw that Bobby had left me. He probably went on his way to history without me.
Typical.
I was just taking a few steps forward to continue on my route when I bumped into someone. Or rather, they bumped into me.
"Oh--sorry!" The person that bumped into me apologized, obviously in a rush.
"Oh, no, you're-- Bianca?!" I asked, baffled. "Aren't you supposed to be in your dorm? I thought that the professor--"
"Yeah, well, the professor can wait. Whereas I, my fast-running friend, can't." Despite Bianca's attitude-sprinkled tone, I could tell that she was well out of breath.
"Um, excuse me?"
Bianca rolled her eyes, which reminded me strangely of Bobby, as the minute-bell rang.
"Look. Meet me after school at the basketball court. I have a few things that I want to tell you."
"Okay, then. Bye, Bianca."
"Bye," Bianca waved and turned around.
"Wait, Bianca," I said, grabbing her forearm.
"Yeah?" She asked.
"Thanks for saving my life back there. I...I really appreciate it."
"Um...okay. You're welcome, I guess...?" Bianca yanked her arm out of my grasp and walked away.
Well, that was weird, I thought. It was almost as if she didn't remember me...
After the late bell rang out, I quickly sped off to history.

Okay, so what I think I'm going to start doing is do flashbacks at the beginning of each chapter, and then the present day afterwards. Special thanks to @chloetheretard for the flashback idea. Also, sometimes, it might not always be flashbacks. Sometimes it will just be letting you know something that happened in the past whether it is relevant to the present day story or not. For those of you who have seen Once Upon A Time (great show, by the way!!! :-) then this shouldn't be too hard to understand. For those of you who haven't, I strongly advise it. It is AWESOME!!! See you next week (hopefully)!!!! ;) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
