Peter had gotten out of the situation, and came running back to Violet and Ned.
"What happened?" Violet asked, searching Peter's face.
"I put a tracker on one of the guys," Peter said.
"Awesome!" Ned exclaimed.
"Ned can you come over later?" Peter asked hopefully.
"Yeah!" Ned said happily.
Then Peter looked over at Violet,"You can come too, i-if you want," Peter stuttered.
"That's okay I need to sort some things out later," Violet said with a small smile.
"Okay,cya tomorrow Violet!" Ned waved.
Peter waved and they walked down the hall. Violet sent them a small wave in reply, then turned and walked in the opposite direction. By sorting things out she meant with Tony. She needed to be on good terms with him before making him sign the forms for the decathlon field trip.
Violet walked through the streets of New York, admiring shop displays. When she finally got to the tower, she asked FRIDAY where Tony was.
"He is in the labs,"The AI's calm voice replied.
"Thanks," Violet said.
Violet walked through the tower. Most of the stuff was in boxes, Violet didn't know how she felt about moving day. She would be far away from school, and she was confused as to how she would get there everyday.
She went into the lab, admiring the tech surrounding her. She spotted Tony in the corner typing on a computer.
"Hey Tony?" Violet started.
"What's up kid," He said, not turning around.
"I just wanted to talk about the other night-" Violet said before getting cut off.
"Don't worry about it, just don't get hurt I don't need that on my conscience," he said, glancing at her briefly.
"Okay, also can you sign these forms?" Violet said, a little stunned at his reaction.
"Get Happy to do it, I'm a little busy," he said.
Violet rolled her eyes and walked out. She found Happy and he signed the forms.
"Also some of your stuff was packed today, so if you need anything they are in the boxes in your room," Happy said, he was a little distracted by something on his phone.
"Okay thanks," Violet said and walked off.
Violet stopped in front of the training center. It had been a while since she had trained. She decided to go in. She trained the rest of the day away.
Later she grabbed a slice of leftover pizza and went into her room. She fell onto her bed and sighed. Staring at her ceiling she stuffed the pizza into her mouth. She was left with her thoughts.
What were these off feelings she was having for Peter? It was confusing and annoying. It was times like this when she really wished her mom was here. It wouldn't hurt to call her.. Violet looked at her phone. She sat up and put in the number.
She knew it was illegal for her to talk to her mom, but she didn't care. The phone rang and then went silent.
"Hello?" Natasha's voice came from the other end.
"Mom?" Violet said, quietly.
"Hey Vi, is there an emergency?" Violet enjoyed her moms soothing voice.
"Kinda," Violet said, picking at her nail.
"Shoot," Nat said.
"I was just wondering I have this friend who has this weird feeling around this boy. Her stomach gets all fluttery and she can't breath properly when he's near, and she's confused what that feeling is?" Violet smoothly lied.
