Violet pulled out her phone and pulled up the software she had made.

"Tracker found," an automated voice stated.

A map filled the screen, showing the moving spot where Peter was.

"Gotcha," Violet grinned and flew after it.

She caught up to him and he was driving a car. Violet landed on the back of it, as stealthy as possible. Suddenly he made a sharp turn, causing Violet to tumble of the side of the moving car.

Violet growled and jumped back on. Not caring that she was being loud. Peter didn't seem to notice, he was shouting.

Violet held on tight, and they arrived at a parcade. Violet followed Peter into the building. At the entrance, she raised her gun, getting ready to shoot. Peter's spider sense was going off the charts. Peter heard her movements, and gulped.

Almost in slow motion, Peter whipped around and webbed the gun out of her hand. Violet blinked at him, then charged. Peter flipped out of the way, and then grabbed her by the shoulders.

He took off his mask, his brown eyes staring into her Violet ones.

"Please, Violet, don't let them control you,"Peter pleaded.

Violet shuddered. Then looked up at Peter, fear visible in her eyes.

"Peter," she whispered.

Her eyes rolled to the back of her head, and she went limp under Peter's strong hold.

"Violet? Violet!" He shook her, but to no avail.

He laid her inside the car, and went inside the building.

                           ————————-

Pain throbbed through Violet's head. She kept her eyes closed, and snuggled in deeper into her comforter. She felt a presence beside her.

She opened her eyes, and looked at who it was. Peter.

He looked very uncomfortable in his slumber. Sitting up right in a chair. Memories from the night before came rushing back. She sat up quickly, immediately regretting it. She groaned and sunk back down into the pillow.

This woke up Peter.

"Violet! Your awake! Are you feeling okay?" He leapt to her side.

"It happened again didn't it?" Violet asked, her eyes shut.

"Well yes but-" Peter started.

"I hurt you didn't I?" Violet asked, but it was less of a question.

Peter stayed silent. Violet buried her face into the palms of her hands. Tears leaked from her eyes.

"Violet, please don't cry," Peter said softly.

"I-I can't do this anymore Peter," Violet sobbed softly.

"Hey, hey," Peter soothed and brought his strong arms around Violet.

Violet cried into his shirt for a couple minutes before sniffing and pulling away.

"I'm sorry," Violet apologized.

"What are you a apologizing for?" Peter held Violet's shoulders lightly.

"For everything," Violet said, and met his eyes.

Peter cupped Violet's face and she felt a sense of deja vu.

"Violet you have nothing to be sorry for," he said, rubbing small circles on her cheeks with his thumb.

Violet leaned into his hold. Oh Peter.

Peter slowly retracted his hands. Violet cleared her throat.

"So.. how are things with Liz?" Violet asked, with a small flinch.

Peter stared at his shoes.

"Oh, she's uh moving away," Peter said, a hint of sadness in his voice.

"I'm sorry Peter, I know how much you liked her," Violet said, looking down at her fingers.

"Nah it's fine," Peter sighed and looked up.

The two teens faces were close, very close. Their noses almost touching. Violet's breath hitched and she quickly glanced down at Peter's lips.

Peter subconsciously licked them. This almost made Violet swoon.

"Vi-"

The door burst open, cutting Peter off. The pair sprung away from each other. It was Tony.

"Great your awake, Happy can show you to your new room," Tony said, distracted by his phone.

Violet rolled her eyes," Okay."

With that, Tony headed out.

Violet looked back at Peter, who was studying his shoes. Violet smiled.

"Help me up would you?" Violet asked, sitting up.

"Y-Yeah sure," he scrambled over.

He helped her stand up, and Violet took a few wobbly steps. Happy walked into the room.

"I'll be taking you to your new room Violet, Uh Peter come with and then I'll drive you home," Happy said.

Violet followed Happy, Peter holding her hand to support her. Violet's heart sped up at the fact Peter was holding her hand in his.

They walked for a while before reaching a door. Happy pushed it open and Violet walked in.

It was smaller than her other one, but Violet liked it that way. There were three boxes in the corner that held what Violet assumed was her belongings. Violet tugged her hand out of Peter's and walked around the room, observing it.

"Okay come with me Peter," Happy said.

Violet turned around and before she could stop herself, she hugged Peter. At first he was surprised but hen he loosely wrapped his arms around her torso. Violet buried her face in his shoulder.

"I'll see you at school Peter," Violet muttered.

"Y-Yeah," Peter whispered.

Violet released him and he walked out with Happy, leaving Violet alone in the room. She sighed and began to unpack, putting up the decorations she had gotten and Michele's Aunts shop. That seems like months ago.

Violet put away her last T-shirt and sat on her bed, satisfied. She brought her knees up to her chest and sighed. Oh mom. If only you were here.

Suddenly, it felt as if her skull was being sliced open. Violet cried out and pressed her hands to the sides of her head.

"I told you there would be consequences."

Violet's door burst open, but she hardly noticed. The pain blurred her vision. She could hardly make out the man dressed in all black above her, before everything went dark.
