A/N: This is gonna be a All Human AU, so everyone are not ghouls here but Kaneki still works in Anteiku and the CCG and Anteiku ppl are like friends here. Also this fanfic is gonna focus on Kaneki instead of reader-chan.

~1st Attempt~

"You can do it Kaneki." the black haired boy whispered to himself as he entered inside the Big Girl's restaurant to dine with you.

It was the day Ken Kaneki decided to propose to Y/N L/N, they had been together for almost 6 years and Ken was ready to finally go to the next level. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

As he entered the restaurant, he spotted and waved at you. Both of you talked about books and enjoying the food placed on the the table. Well you certainly enjoyed the date, but Ken was pretty nervous, so nervous that he forgot that you're just in front of him chatting.

"Hey Ken have you read Death Note?" You asked the day dreaming boy.

"Ken are ya listening to me???" You said in a serious voice which made him flinched.

"Ah yeah I'm listening, Note of Death right?" He chuckled nervously and you sighed.

"Ken is there something wrong, you've been acting weird lately." you asked in a concern voice.

Well it's now or never for Kaneki, he's gonna do it.

"Well Y/N, we've been together for almost 6 years now and I think it's ti-"

♪Baka baka baka nani ga koko made anata o ugokasu no?♪

"Wait sorry Ken, got to take this." you apologized and went outside to answer the call.

"Phew" Kaneki said out of relief and waited for you to come back inside. Well waited an hour for you to come back.

"You know what, I'll just propose in another day." Ken said in shame and put the small engagement box in his pocket.

~2nd Attempt~

"This better work Kaneki." Hide said as he prepared the firecrackers for this evening's attempt.

Since the 1st attempt was a complete failure, Kaneki decided to make this one more memorable and decided to show off fireworks for you. Fortunately, Hide had a couple of buddies who are pyrotechnicians so Hide won't screw this up alone.

Currently right now, Kaneki, Hide and the pyrotechnicians are hiding in a small bush waiting for you to come.

"Kaneki-San is your girlfriend gonna come or what?" the pyrotechnician 'Makoto' bluntly asked.

"She'll be here righhhhhhhht abouuuuut no-" Kaneki was cut off by you, yourself.

"Ken? Hide-kun?, why are you guys hiding in a bush and also who are these dudes? Wait don't tell me you guys having an occult???" You dramatically gasped.
