A/N: I'm back from idk how many weeks! So just some heads up for this shot
- This shot has some minor (or big I guess) changes in the anime version of TG and Ken is gonna be part  of Aogiri here.
- The kid's name is Haru and the picture above is what he looks like.
-You're a full ghoul here, while Haru is a natural half breed.
-Haru is 3 years old, and he's very smart just like boi Kaneki.

"Mommy! Mommy! Please read me more stories!" Your adorable son demanded.

"Hon, it's passed your bedtime already." You stated tiredly.

"Please, please, just one more!"

"Okay, but just one more story because mommy still has to go to work tomorrow." You stated and chuckled. It's really hard to resist a sweet demand from a kid, you know. Unless you have a cold heart and find no appeal in sweet innocent children. But I get it if you know some kids who acts like they were the spawn of Satan ... like my cousin! (Sorta)

Anyways... you told another story to your black haired son, but it was very different from the folks and fables that you read to him. It is actually based on a real life story.

Your real life story in fact.

"Once upon a time, there was a young girl about 12 years older than you, she met a very charming young boy. Both of them, worked in a small café, while working at the café , they soon became friends and respected each other, but it all changed."

"What happened to the girl mommy?"

"The girl started to fell in love with the boy, but he had left her and all of his friends  to protect them."

"To protect them from what?" The little boy got more curious.

"To protect them from bad creatures, hon." You hesitated but told him anyway.

"Like us mommy?" Your son asked with a sad expression on his face.

"Haru..." You hugged him  and stroked his hair.

"What do you mean by bad creatures mommy?"

"Well remember you asked me the difference between a red ant and a black ant?"

"Yeah"

"Well black ants are like us good ghouls, we eat bite when necessary or eat if you must, and the red ants are like those bad ghouls, remember Miss Takahashi?"

"Yeah she tried to force me to hunt everyday because I'm a growing boy."

"Well what she said is true, you are growing and you need more meat, but her way of hunting food is really bad and can really hurt humans, like red ants they inject small poisons to humans which makes them itch and for ghouls like Miss Takahashi they go to an extreme level of hunting, but it's not really their fault, it's just their way of coping the guilt of hunting everyday they feel like they are forced to do it.
