Alexis's POV:

The next day, i had to wake up early because my flight left at 9 am. We arrived at the airport at 7 am because apparently if you're leaving the country you have to get there 2 hours before.

My mom, Ben, Drew, and Grant were at the airport with me. After i finally got my tickets i went over to them to say good bye.

I sighed and i guess my mom was holding back for a long time because she ran over to me and hugged me. She started crying and said, "i'm gonna miss you Alex."

"is that a skateboard?" i opened my mouth shocked.

She laughed at my stunned face and said, "i just wanted you to feel like home when you're in Paracrystal."

I hugged her again and grabbed the skateboard, "thanks mom."

Then she walked away so she wouldn't have to cry in front of me.

Drew and Grant walked over to me and we high five. Then they walked away to get something too. I never knew going away could be this rewarding!

"An electric guitar?" I said when they came back.

Drew cleared his throat, "Well you know we couldn't want you to forget us."

"Plus this'll really get you into some trouble." Grant smiled evilly.

I laughed and hugged them, "thanks dudes."

They walked away not wanting to cry. Then Ben went up to me. He took an envelope from his pant pocket and gave it to me.

I fanned my face with it. "I wonder what it is." When i opened it, instead of the money i was expecting, i saw a piece of paper.

I opened it and read it aloud, "Dear Ms. Alexis Taylor, We would like to congratulate you on your great grades in High school. You have been accepted into Paracrystal College in Paracrystal. You will begin on August 20." I stopped reading because the rest was about the schedule and stuff.

I looked at Ben angry, "this is what you got for me?"

He laughed, "well you'll still have to be at that academy when you start college so i thought how about you go to college there."

I pouted, "well that just goes to show how much you care."

I sighed, "i do care. Plus i will miss you."

I rolled my eyes, "please the only reason you miss me is because i'm your only client."

He laughed, "don't roll your eyes at me. Or else i'll take all that stuff that i sent to you. It's probably already in your room right now."

I hugged him and then pulled away quickly, "wait what kind of stuff?" I asked questioningly.

He said, "things that you'll need there. Considering all you brought with you were clothes."

I said, "those things that i will need better not be textbooks."

He laughed and then hugged me, "i'll miss you Alex. Stay well ok and if anyone attacks you punch them."

I smiled, "don't worry all those karate, defense, and fencing classes you made me go to will finally pay off.

Then i heard the intercom said, "The flight to Paracrystal is ready for it's passengers to board."

"Well that's me."

My mom hugged me one more time and then i walked away. I waved to them and kept waving until they were out of sight.
