Alexis's POV:

It's been 2 weeks since i came to Paracrystal. I can't believe it's been that long already. Not that i want to be here or anything.

Lady Victoria's been bugging me about everything. She even wants me  to dye my blue highlights back to just my blond hair.

I woke up on a Monday morning and slept on the wrong side of bed. I'm serious because what happened that day would change me.

I set my alarm clock so that i would wake up at 8 am. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. After that, i decided to eat breakfast waiting for Philip to come in.

When he finally came in, he was smiling. I stood up surprised that i was just about to curtsied but stopped myself.

He looked confused, "Good morning Alex." He sat down clearing his throat, "So are you going to sit down?"

I smiled and sat down, "good morning." I could feel my cheeks burning. I began to eat again and he stared at me.

I looked up feeling a little mad but surprisingly flattered, "do you have nothing else to do?" He looked away and i began to eat again,

"Sorry i didn't mean to stare it's just you're very pretty." He said the last part very quietly but i could still hear him say it.

Suddenly i started coughing and choking on my sausage. He went behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I finally spit out the sausage and coughed. He sat back down and stared down at the ground, "sorry i didn't mean to..." he drifted off.

I sat down across from him staring at him, "how do you really feel about me?" He looked up, "well let's just just i like you."

I smiled, "what do you mean you like me?" He sighed, "i really like to get to know you in a more girlfriend way."

My heart was beating really fast. I couln't breathe and i could feel my cheeks on fire. "But you know i'm going to be leaving in about 3 months right?"

He nodded, "yeah but i mean if you love someone so much wouldn't you be willing to sacrifice?" I stood up furious,

"So you want me to stay here just because of you?" He cleared his throat and stood up too, "actually i was talking about me moving to America with you."

I was shocked. He was willing to leave his family and his country for me? "I-I don't understand you don't even know anything about me. How could you just give up everyone you knew your whole life for a girl you barely just met?"

He smiled and stepped closer to me, "i'm not saying that i would in 3 months. It would just depend on the way i feel about you in 3 months."

Then he took another step and kissed me. It was just a small kiss on the lips and lasted for a second. When he pulled away, i wrapped my arms around him and he hugged me back kissing my hair.

We stood like that for what seemed like hours. Then a maid came in, "Prince Philipius it's time for you to go."

He tried to pull away but i wouldn't let my hand off of him. He whispered in my ears, "don't worry i'll see you later."

I finally let go and he laughed, "don't worry i won't be gone for long." He winked.

I sat down still smiling about the kiss. A few minutes later, there was a knock on my door. I said, "come in."

The door opened and there stood David with some flowers. I smiled but was a little confused, "who are those flowers for?"

He handed them to me, "Um Alex there's something i need to tell you." I knew something was up because he never looked at me like that.

"Ok how about we go for a walk. I seriously think i'll gain a lot of pounds when i leave." We walked out to the hallway.

David cleared his throat, "so listen Alex when Ben first showed me his sister, i kind of got a little crush on you."

I nearly choked on my own spit. What was this dude telling me? He continued, "Well after i got sent here, i kind of forgot about you. Then when i saw you that day, all the feelings came back."

I stopped walking, "David listen i just want to clear something before you go any further." But he wouldn't let me.

He shook his head, "you don't understand i've been holding back hoping they would go away but they're still here and i won't stop until  you're in my arms."

I said slowly, "i um already have a boyfriend." He looked at me shocked and pushed me up against the wall, "what do you mean?"

"Your'e hurting me David," i said as he squeezed my shoulders harder. "Is it that stupid prince?" He said, "if it is then you're wasting your time. I mean he has so many other girls why would he choose a girl like you?"

Tears started coming out of my eyes and i didn't know why. That was until Philip saw us. "Hey what do you think you're doing?" he shouted.

David looked at Philip and took his hands off of me. He stepped away from me, "i'm sorry Prince Philipius i was just walking down the hall when she bumped into me. Guess i gotta control my temper."

Then he walked away from us. Philip walked up to me and i covered my face in his shirt. I didn't want him to see me crying.

He hugged me back but then pulled away, "walk with me Alex." I walked beside him holding his hand. He cleared his throat,

"Did you know that guard?" I nodded, "he was my brother's friend and also mine too."

"Oh," he said with a nervousness in his voice. "what did he say to you that made you cry?" I was thinking really hard then decided to just distract him.

I leaned in and kissed his cheek. He smiled but wouldn't let go of the topic, "don't worry Alex i won't be mad just tell me what you guys were talking about."

I sighed, "well he was just saying how he likes me and has a crush on me ever since the day we met. But i told him i had a boyfriend and that's when he pushed me up to the wall." I said quickly."

He began walking again and i tried catching up to him. When i finally did, i grabbed his arm and hugged it. I leaned my head against his shoulder.

"Are you mad Philip?" He sighed, "no i'm not. I want to know about the part when you cried. What did he said then?"

I looked down to the ground not  letting go of him. "Well he said that you wouldn't want to date a girl like me because you have so many other girls." He stopped walking.

He pulled his arm out of my hands and wrapped it around me. I wrapped my arms around him and leaned my head against his shoulders .
